Filipino Language & Sign Language
| Learn to Read | Singing and more!

POSTS STORIES REELS

From the jeepney signs to the classics we grew up reading, from karaoke nights to the stories passed down by our lolas, the Filipino language is woven into everything we are and everything we love.
It is in the books on our shelves, the songs we sing at the top of our lungs, the signs on the streets, and the words we reach for when nothing else feels right.
Our language is our culture. And our culture is worth keeping alive. 💚
At Kubo, we are doing our part to make sure Filipino kids everywhere grow up knowing, speaking, and loving their language. Send us a message to learn more! 🌿

Pabili po ng pandesal! 🍞
This is exactly what a real Kubo Filipino class looks like. Teacher Jeanne takes her students inside a panaderya and teaches them the words, the phrases, and the little things that make buying bread in the Philippines such a uniquely Filipino experience.
From pan de sal to ensaymada, and from "pabili po" to "magkano ito" — this is Filipino, learned the fun way. 💚

As parents raising kids abroad, we often ask ourselves: Will they grow up connected to their roots? 🌿💚

That’s why we started Kubo, to make sure Filipino kids, no matter where they are, can learn, create, and stay proud of who they are. 🇵🇭✨

💬 What’s one Filipino tradition you treasure most with your family? Share it with us, we’d love to hear your story.

Undas is a time when Filipino families gather to remember the people they love. Swipe through to see why so many families spend it at the cemetery, and how you can keep the tradition going wherever you are.

Feeling a little nostalgic today. 🥹

The sound of the neighborhood waking up, cartoons before school, merienda with the whole family, and playing outside until it got dark. Simple days that somehow felt like everything.

What’s one memory from your 90s childhood that you’d love to relive?

Home is something we carry with us, wherever life takes us. 💚

This Filipino American History Month, we’re celebrating the families who keep Filipino language, food, traditions, and love alive while building new lives abroad.

Being Filipino does not have to fade as our families grow in different places. It can live in the meals we share, the words we use at home, the traditions we pass on, and the stories we tell our children.

At Kubo, we believe every Filipino child deserves to feel connected to where they come from, no matter where they grow up. Happy Filipino American History Month from our Kubo family to yours. 🇵🇭💚

How do you keep Filipino culture alive in your family? Let’s talk about it in the comments.

Throwback to our amazing time
at Pasko Na sa California!

We made parols 🏮,
decorated balikbayan boxes 📦,
and shared the love with our
Capiz Christmas tree decor
and detachable sleeves giveaways! 🎁

It was truly a blast connecting
with our community and
celebrating the Filipino spirit together.

A big THANK YOU to @kubolearningcenterph @kubomarketingstudio @lilbalikbayan
and everyone who made this event possible.
We're so happy to have been part of it! 🥰

Every year, we go to The Shops at Chino Hills Kids Fair, and every year, Juju & Ellie would ask if they could join and sell something. 🥹💗

This year, we finally said YES! And we finally started How R U Cosmetics! ✨

They’ve been so passionate about their little business, and as parents, we want to give them the space to dream, create, and explore who they can become.

Start them young. Support them always. 💕

Come support these little entrepreneurs on November 7 at The Shops at Chino Hills!

Every playdate started with one simple question:

“How R U?”

Who knew their imaginary store would one day become real? 🥹

Love,
Juju & Ellie 💗

Being a Filipino mom abroad comes with its own quiet kind of strength. These are five words that capture what that journey feels like, the joy, the love, the patience, and everything in between.

Masaya. Mapagmahal. Matatag. Matiyaga. Mapagkalinga.

Five words, one shared experience for so many of us raising Filipino families far from home.

What Filipino word would you use to describe your own journey? Let's talk about it in the comments below!

By the way, we're open again for Filipino classes! If you'd love to raise kids who feel just as connected to our language and culture, send us a message to learn more.
