A bit behind on this post. This was a tough race going into. My mind was not right and I was entirely focused on my brother’s health. At times I lost complete focus 3-4 times in the race and couldn’t lock in. I felt like I was just running. @rhodymike1 held me in check throughout the entire race to push us to finish. Thanks for that bud. Couldn’t have done it without the push. We knew our goal going into the race several weeks before but then things changed for me 2 days prior to the race. My brother’s health deteriorated quickly after seeing him Sunday. Told him I’d race Thursday and Saturday but I ended up selling my ticket for my solo. His health was way too important. I pushed harder than I ever had mentally not knowing what my brother’s health condition would be like the next few days. I’m just glad we finished and bested our race in Miami by 1 min and 30 secs. New PR for us both. On to the next race and praying for my brother’s health to be back to normal one day. Lots of prays for him is needed at this time. #hyro #hyroxamerica #hybridathlete by @kue_tip

A little behind on this post. Last week was as tough as it could get. Half way through the second run my right rib started to cramp up badly. I ran 4 laps with that pain and wasn’t going to let @rhodymike1 down with all the training we’ve been through to cave in on the pain. Some laps I ran all out full sprint with tons of pain to make sure we try to hit that sub 60 or better than our Boston time. No way in hell I was going to give up. (Shouldn’t have ate a pizza 3.5 hrs before start time. May have been the reasoning) In my mind, “Pain is temporary, pride is forever.” Although we didn’t hit our target goal we still did better than Boston with a time of 1:07:15. This is with minimum training of runs up in the northeast with this past brutal winter season. Now that I’m in San Diego the goal is still the same but I can train with a lot more running days ahead in nicer weather. NYC Hyrox loading. 7 weeks. @f45_training_cranston fam. Love y’all. One of the best gym communities to be apart of for the last 4.5 years. It was great meeting everyone that I got to know here. I hope I’ve inspired, and motivated everyone I worked out with and partnered with that you can do hard things. Don’t doubt yourself that you can’t do anything. Bros. 25+ years we’ve known each other. I still remember the time we bunked school and I told you both not to drink your Wendy’s fountain drink in my VW golf and made you both get out of the car to throw it out to then just drive off on you both in the parking lot. I clearly remember watching you both run after me as I drive off in the car while the doors were still open and I’m looking through the rear view mirror dying from laughter. 🤣 😂 A core memory to never forget.

We talked about Asian House Mafia when I got into DJing haha 🤣 😂 how the great times have flown by.

Fellas. We’ve had a long road together. 15+ years of “raging” haha how times have flown. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to put this up last weekend. It’s been a wild week wrapping everything up before I move on to this new chapter of my life. Though I’m across the country we’ll all still be in this long group chat of unnecessary stuff we talk about 😂

Great time last night. These guys will always be my brothers. 17+ years of friendship and we’ll always have each others back and support. 14 years ago this little boy was born. The first of the Kue nephews from all the boys in our big family. Happy birthday Jacob Kue. @doukue84 would be so proud of you for being a great big brother to your brother Mason. I’m going to miss watching you grow up but I know you and your brother will be okay. You’ll still grow up and be just like me and dad. Love you big boy. by @kue_tip

Bittersweet last milestone as my time with @f45_training_cranston will be coming to a close in 1-2 months. 3.5 years took a little too long to hit 1k 😅 in my mind but I needed those rest days. Thanks to all the coaches/trainers that pushed me everyday at this place. You guys built this community for the great members here. It lead us to come back everyday and to be consistent. I’ll be back to visit when I’m in town…maybe. San Diego challenges are going to be fun. One last goal before I leave is to crush @hyroxamerica for this studio that built me in April in Miami. by @kue_tip
