Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has reportedly filed a “CEASE AND DES-DURST” against MAIASAURA for labeling themselves as “Nashville’s biggest nu metal band.” According to an unverified insider, Durst reacted strongly after seeing the claim circulate on social media, allegedly calling it “a complete attack on the rich history of nu metal.” The source added, “He was pacing around his studio saying things like, ‘This makes me want to break stuff!’”

Meanwhile, members of MAIASAURA reportedly declined to engage with the situation at all, with one member allegedly stating, “We are not responding to accusations from such a small band.”

COMMENT #freddurst and tag @limpbizkit so we can get the king of Nu Metal’s blessing 👑 Our new album titled “NASHVILLE’S BIGGEST NU METAL BAND” is available to presave NOW. 🔗 in BIO.

MAIASAURA, Nashville’s Biggest Nu Metal Band, has reportedly been removed from the “Nu Metal” category after an anonymous industry panel ruled the band was “too melodic to qualify.” The report cited clean vocal hooks, female lead vocals, and “an unacceptable amount of singing” as reasons the band no longer belongs alongside acts like Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, and Mudvayne.

According to insiders, the decision was made to “protect the integrity of nu metal,” arguing the genre has traditionally been dominated by male-fronted bands with more aggressive vocal styles. Ironically, getting kicked out of nu metal may be the most nu metal thing MAIASAURA has done yet, as fans immediately began arguing online over what actually counts as nu metal.

Most importantly, MAIASAURA has named their upcoming album NASHVILLE’S BIGGEST NU METAL BAND and is available to presave before it drops November 6th. 💋

MAIASAURA, Nashville’s biggest nu metal band, has formally challenged @ronnieradke to a public debate on gravity after claiming they have spent years trying to understand how someone could possibly be “falling in reverse.”

According to the band, they have no issue with the music itself. Their concern lies entirely with the physics. “We’ve reviewed the available evidence and we still can’t figure it out,” the band said in a statement. Members reportedly spent several weeks drawing diagrams, reviewing gravity related research, and repeatedly throwing various household objects into the air before concluding that a public debate was necessary.

The challenge has already generated discussion online, with many wondering how Radke will respond. MAIASAURA says they expect the conversation to remain civil, noting that Ronnie is famously one of the least controversial figures in rock music and rarely finds himself involved in public disputes. “We know he’ll be level-headed about this,” the band stated.
