I went shooting with my friends and we had such a great time! Mission Ridge remains the best range in DFW and they took great care of us! by @kurtatlaw

September 2026. It’s 97 degrees outside but that’s just Texas doing Texas things. I’ve been busy working on a few things, some big, some small, all very cool. I miss my homies though so don’t be a stranger! 🌎 by @kurtatlaw

Texas and Summer are a potent combo. Thank God I get to live in the best state in the union and enjoy my constitutional freedoms free from overreach by the nanny state. We really are nicer down here in the Lone Star State, if you ever come to visit I will always have a cold Dr Pepper waiting for you! These Japanese made Yamaha basses are crazy good! The quality and craftsmanship honestly rivals American Custom Shop builds. I don’t play 4-strings super often anymore (I’m a low B guy now) but this one will always be my go-to!

My band @oceans_envy is on a comeback tour! Here is the video for “Dreamers”, it’s a no-budget affair which means I have proven you can have fun for free!! If you want to share the video/song that would be pretty cool! I’ll probably send you some stickers and maybe a shirt!

My band @oceans_envy is so back! “Dreamers” has exceeded my expectations and I’m so excited to launch the video on Friday! I won’t stop because I can’t stop. No brakes. No parachute. #summersongs #electropop #cobrastarship #kylieminogue #equalvisionrecords by @kurtatlaw

Safariland is doing it right! I can confirm that G19/TLR-7 Vault holsters will also fit the longer TLR-7 HL-X with zero mods needed. It has earned its place on the battle belt.

Slowly it grips you. It’s uncomfortable at first, maybe even scary. But she will whisper you her secrets if you stand with a Lion’s heart. It is the 5-string bass.

Having that low B comes in handy more often than you would think. From extended low end range to less fretboard movement, the 5-string bass went from a novelty for me to being almost all I play. I have two Fender 5-strings and I’m probably going to sell most of the 4-string basses I have left.

The 4-string has its time and place, but I almost never play one. Join me on the low side of the moon.

Dallas Blizzard 2026 has been crazy, but overall not too bad. The power has stayed on, I have Monster Energy, and the streets are slowly melting into slush. Thanks to everyone who has checked in! I had to bring my 11.5” FSP build to show off its “desert sand/white winter” custom rattle-can paint job by yours truly!

Last night was a wonderful time at the best range in Dallas! I’ve been working on my extended distance pistol shooting as well as training hard on dot-offset. It’s a slow climb but I’m steadily improving. I brought the X95 out for a bit to try out the @3pantherproducts Gas Buster and combined with the Manticore gasket port cover it really does lead to a better shooting experience. It’s still a little gassy, but now it’s much closer to mild annoyance while it used to be “holy hell, this gas is going to kill me” lol by @kurtatlaw
