Just over a week ago, I had an encounter with God that genuinely revived something in my heart I didn’t even realize had grown so distant.
I’ve spent so much of my life trying to figure everything out, control the outcome, and carry things I was never meant to carry alone.
But lately, Jesus has been teaching me what it actually means to surrender. Not just believing in Him, but trusting Him enough to follow when I don’t know what’s ahead.
And I can tell you, things have already started changing in ways I couldn’t have orchestrated myself.
I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring things out. But one thing I’m realizing is that God never stopped reaching for me, even during the times I wasn’t reaching for Him.
If you’re in a season where you feel lost, exhausted, or too far gone, I just want to encourage you. You’re not beyond His reach, and it’s not too late to turn toward Him.
He’s been walking beside you longer than you realize. by @kvnlwdr

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how much of my life I’ve spent trying to figure out what comes next. Trying to make the right moves, trying to get things under control. And one of the biggest things Jesus has been teaching me is that trusting Him and needing to understand everything are two very different things.

For so long I looked at my life and only saw what I’d lost, what I messed up, where I fell short. But Jeremiah 29:11 reminds me God’s plans are bigger than what I can see right now. Plans to prosper me, not to harm me. Plans to give me hope and a future.

And my perspective has been changing. I don’t want to spend my life asking God to bless the direction I’ve chosen. I want to become someone who’s willing to follow the direction He’s leading.

Because the best is yet to come doesn’t necessarily mean an easier life or everything finally going my way. Sometimes the best thing that can happen to us is becoming the person God has been calling us to be all along.

Made this as a reminder for myself first.

You are because God is. Your identity in God is never going to change. His view of you is never going to change. why? Because He is constant, which means you never have to wake up and wonder, “Am I still fearfully and wonderfully made? Am I still loved?” You’ll never have to wonder these things. Hold onto this promise. by @kvnlwdr
