MOST PEOPLE THINK THE GODFATHER IS ABOUT THE MAFIA. IT’S ABOUT YOU.

Not the violence, but the trade.

The Godfather is NOT about the mafia. It’s about a man who spends hours protecting his family, but losing every single one of them in the process. He never sees it happening because every choice looks reasonable on the day he makes it.

That’s the part nobody warns you about: You don’t lose people because they stop loving you. But you lose them because you keep choosing the work.

Nobody wakes up and decides to trade their loved ones for a career. It happens in every “next week” or every “after this work.” In one reasonable postponement, repeated a thousand times over.

🔥 KALO KITA GAK KELIATAN, KITA GAK ADA! 🔥

Bukan karena kita narsisistik, tapi karena kekuatan juga membutuhkan perhatian dari keberanian kita dalam berpendapat.

Bagaimana caranya kita punya kekuatan kalau kita tidak berani untuk berdiri dan berpendapat?

It’s not because we’re narcissistic, but power also requires courting attention from speaking up.

How can we have power if we don’t have the guts to stand our ground and speak up?

NOBODY GOES TO WAR AND STAYS THE SAME.

People think Fury is about heroism. Don “Wardaddy” Collier (Brad Pitt) isn’t fearless. He’s seen and done unspeakable things.

The warning for Norman (Logan Lerman) is there: “Wait till you see it: What a man can do to another man.”

War is honest and never reveals cruelty. It reveals us and what we’re capable of.

“Ideas are peaceful. History is violent.”

Our own life, career, relationship, growth may look differently than war, but the concept is this: we must sacrifice something to win our battle.

Talking to people who only wanna talk about problems is like talking to a wall.

So find new people.

Sometimes our haters are not complete strangers, but those we know.

Life has a dark sense of humor.

This generation sees watching movies as bullsh*t.

But movies give you perspective from another POV.

It makes you learn new perspective. It trains your mind to commit to more than 90 minutes of living in other people’s mind.

I think we’re too self-centered nowadays, that we lack the attention span, patience, commitment, and curiosity that are required.

Comment below what your fav movie is.
