One of the projects I’m still really proud of from my time at The Bambu Agency. While working with the team, I was responsible for the visual identity design , translating the strategic direction into a visual identity that felt distinctive, confident, and true to the brand. I remember the feedbacks from the Creative Director on this project. Those refinements brought out the beauty in the work and taught me a lot about the value of good creative direction and collaboration. “What strain were you on when you cooked this?” 😂 That was the client’s reaction when I presented the logo direction for Cracked Studios. The brief was simple: bold, playful, and disruptive. I didn't want to create another typical Web3 logo. I wanted something with its own character...something bold, playful, and disruptive, while still feeling unmistakably Cracked. I started with the block, a nod to blockchain and building, then introduced the crack as a literal expression of the name and a visual cue for disruption. The result is not the regular kind of logo you see. It has a personality of its own. I then carried that visual language into the merchandise, turning the idea into pieces that feel just as bold and unapologetic. I didn't just design a logo. I made Cracked look Cracked. by @kwalbrand

I remember sometime around January 2024, I designed these logo marks for a brand called Errands. A friend reached out for a collaboration, and I ended up cooking up 3 different logo variations. A few days ago, I randomly picked up a pack of @cheetos I didn't expect it to become my latest creative experiment. Lately, I've been exploring product photography, not because I necessarily want to become a product photographer, but because I believe better brand designers understand how products are presented, lit, and experienced. These images started as simple photographs I took myself. From there, I experimented with commercial lighting, color grading, art direction, and AI-assisted post-production to create visuals that feel polished while staying true to the original product. This is less about snacks and more about expanding my creative toolbox. Because the more disciplines I understand, the better I can tell stories for the brands I work with. More experiments to come.
