Life threw some heavy punches. I lost my mom at 18 and then my dad just three years later. Devastated, I walked away from University , my dream of a degree feeling impossible. But grief, as heavy as it was, couldn’t extinguish the fire within. With the unwavering support of my friends,family and most importantly God I found the courage to go back. It wasn’t easy. There were days filled with doubt, nights filled with tears. But with faith as my guide, I pushed forward, one step at a time. Today, I stand here, a graduate!

This journey is proof: no matter how dark it gets, we can rise. We can achieve anything we set our minds to. With the right support system and unwavering belief, even the most impossible dreams become reality. So, to anyone facing challenges, hold onto hope. You are stronger than you think. Believe in yourself, and never give up on what truly matters.

Congratulations to me, and congratulations to YOU for taking the time to read this. You too, can achieve greatness!🏆🫵🏾

A love letter to my son ❤️

The year my life changed forever.
I never felt like I was deserving of love until the day I met you for the first time, Ahadi Langalibalele. God gave me you when I needed you the most.
You have officially been on this earth for 365 days, and I can’t even begin to tell you how grateful I am to have you as my first-born son.
Ahadi means uSthembiso (promise). I gave you that name because you have such an uncanny resemblance to me; God gave me a mini-me—not to follow in my footsteps, but to create his own legacy.
Langalibalele, which means “the son has risen,” is yours because you will bring light into everyone’s life, just like the King of the Hlubi Nation.
I loved you even before I met you.
With every smile, every cuddle, and every small milestone, you remind me that there is beauty in this world.
I will always protect you and give you the utmost love and respect to make you the best man you can be.
I promise as your father to give you the best childhood, and may God grant you many more years.
