Today I was able to represent Canada at the JJIF World Championship in Mongolia and picked up the gold medal! Three matches in the masters 1 -69kg division, I won two by submission and one on points. Super grateful for this amazing opportunity!

It's been a blast hanging out with all of team Canada so far! Big thanks to everyone in my corner, here and at home for all the support! Huge thanks to Professor Gringo @actionreactionmma for everything he does! Thanks to @tony_isaacs19 for everything he does for team Canada! Thanks to my homie @jeffsantos1277 the best travel partner, and thanks to @flawlesskimonos for always making me look sharp with the best gis around. Those Canada gis look sharp as always! And of course thanks to my family and my amazing girlfriend @femmefatal88 for being awesome!

Black belt master 1 Featherweight silver medalist! 5 tough matches against a bunch of savages. It's definitely encouraging to do so well at my first Master Worlds as a black belt, but the goal is that gold and I'll be back next year, more prepared and coming for that number 1 spot!

The support from all my friends, teammates and everyone in the jiu-jitsu community is incredible! I've spent hours replying to messages from all you legends and I still have more to go! It really means a lot to me to have so many amazing people in my corner!

Special shout outs to my teammates @ayishaissa @tkfbutler @janiner_beaner for the pictures, filming and shouting at me! Much respect to Prof. Igor @mocaiber_bjj for the solid coaching! Prof. Gringo @actionreactionmma has been in my corner yelling at me since day one, if you've ever seen my matches you know that I rely heavily on the advice I get from him. Words can't describe how grateful I am. This wouldn't be possible without his mentorship! My boy Chris from @coreperformancetherapy thanks for fixing my broken body and helping me get stronger! And of course @jeffsantos1277 who's believed in me from the beginning and always shown me amazing support. Proud to be repping @kingz_canada 🔥🔥🔥

Sadly, this is my last week of teaching at the Action Reaction North York and Pickering locations. I've made countless memories and built some amazing friendships on those mats.

This whole change is extremely bitter sweet for me... I've been teaching classes at North York since 2016 and at Pickering since it opened. In that time I've met so many amazing people, kids and adults, and been blessed with the opportunity to share my passion with them! I'm beyond excited for Action Reaction Vaughan and for this new chapter, but I don't want leave my friends and students!

My door is always open though! Please come visit me in Vaughan anytime! Also, I promise not to be a stranger in North York and Pickering, you'll still see me around!

I've already taught my last night in Pickering and my last basic class in NY. I'm still around till the end of the week, my last class on Saturday, so come in and say goodbye!
