May we choose each other in every lifetime ❤️

We didn’t just find each other… we chose each other. Out of all the lives we could have lived, somehow ours intertwined, and you became my heart outside of my body.

You were never “just a dog.” You were my comfort on hard days, my quiet joy in ordinary moments, my shadow, my home. There was something so special about you… something gentle and knowing, like you understood me without words ever needing to exist.

I keep replaying our last moments, wishing I could hold onto time a little tighter. But if love could have kept you here, you would have stayed forever.

I hope wherever you are now feels soft and warm. I hope there are endless sunny spots for you to lie in, and that your body feels light again, free and strong. I hope you know, with every part of you, just how deeply you were loved.

Thank you for choosing me.
I will carry you with me in everything I do, in every quiet moment, in every memory that still feels like you.

Rest softly, my soul dog.
Until we find each other again. 🐾 by @ky.vanolst
