Our brother, Carolina Keeton, recently had the honor of representing the Alpha Kappa Psi, Omicron Psi Chapter at the 2026 AKPsi Academy! 💙💛 The AKPsi Academy is an exclusive four-day experience for seventeen selected attendees from chapters around the world.

Throughout the Academy, Carolina took part in personality assessments, workshops, and vulnerable conversations designed to push both personal and professional growth. She had the opportunity to learn from facilitators who brought honesty and real-world experience to every session, and to connect with brothers from chapters nationwide all grounded in the same five values: Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service, and Unity.

Celebrating National Internship Awareness Month by highlighting Keira James, Tax Intern at Dean Dorton.

Keira shares, “As a Tax Intern at Dean Dorton, I help prepare and revise individual tax returns alongside tax managers, gain hands-on experience with tax software, and assist clients throughout the process. Dean Dorton has provided me with extensive training, allowing me to build the skills needed to prepare returns independently. It’s been an incredible opportunity to grow professionally and see client service come to life.”

Celebrating National Internship Awareness Month with our very own Claire Shaffer.

Claire is a Cash Vault Operations Intern at 5/3 Bank.

Claire shared, “I did forecasting for different cash vaults, clients, and vendors all over the country—including cruise ship ATMs. I worked with the transportation of cash alongside various money carriers, approved orders, confirmed deliveries, and analyzed data to determine the denominations needed for each client.”
