i really cannot believe it’s been a year since you left this world for heaven. when you left you took a part of me with you, but this year i’ve learned more than i had in my entire life… i’ve learned how to grieve and show people that’s it’s ok to be sad and it’s ok to cry. grayson was a wonderful soul and i know that he is enjoying his time in heaven. although i miss him so so deeply, i am grateful for all the opportunities presented to me in the last year. i was able to switch to a new (self directed) highschool that i always wanted to go to and went on an amazing missions trip to mexico that grayson also went on. a piece of my heart has stayed with him but i have a new and more positive outlook on life. i always remember to love harder because you never know how long a person will be in your life. i am so incredibly thankful to have such amazing parents, grandparents, sisters and friends. thank you to my amazing family and the community that has supported us through this last year.

i have missed gman so much over the course of this year. i miss your “feel better” hugs where you wouldn’t let go until i did. i constantly miss your sense of adventure and your ability to socialize with just about anyone. you lit up a room like no one else. you would be so extremely proud of dad and all the amazing work and thought he has put into tribute. i also know you would have loved azura and pet her with both hands. i always loved watching you pet dogs. i will never forget our little adventure when we went to sell a radio and ended up coming home with a dog. i love the name june bug and you were so proud that you picked it out yourself. that memory will forever be one of my most cherished moments with you. i am heartbroken that i cannot make more memories with you.
