Know Your Rights! We strive to keep our cherished community well-informed and prepared for any upcoming changes, especially during uncertain times when new administration policies may impact immigration and personal security. Understanding your rights and knowing how to assert them is crucial. Please take a moment to browse resources and tips, available in English, Spanish, and Korean, for more information on how to navigate these situations, including information on legal assistance, community support networks, and practical advice for interacting with authorities.

Remember, knowledge is power, and staying informed is the first step to protecting yourself and your loved ones. Whether you're concerned about workplace rights, housing issues, or interactions with law enforcement, we hope these resources can support you. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that every individual's rights are respected and upheld. Stay empowered and safe!

We would like to take a moment of reflection to address the ongoing protests in our city, as our neighbors throughout Los Angeles stand up for our fellow community members. KYCC stands in solidarity with our immigrant clients, families, and community, advocating for our safety, security, and dignity as residents of Los Angeles' Koreatown, Pico Union, and Westlake. We will engage in discussions about upcoming events with our clients and community, ensuring that we can continue to provide essential services while prioritizing the safety of all of our residents. We believe that by working together, we can foster an environment of understanding and positive change. Our commitment to social justice and equity remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who are often unheard.

In challenging times like these, KYCC is a trusted resource to help provide safe spaces and meet the needs of our families, clients, and greater community. We love Koreatown — it's our home and we belong here.

Thank you for your ongoing trust, partnership, and support. #KYCCLA by @kyccla

On September 24, KYCC Community Economic Development and @bmo_us joined forces to bring a Financial Literacy & Small Business Clinic to our community.

With the support of BMO volunteers, who contributed 16 hours of one-on-one consultation, we provided personalized guidance to 9 clients and entrepreneurs. Participants left with real answers to their business questions, with several strengthening their business plans and others receiving guidance on improving their credit scores.

A huge thank you to David Betancourt, Guillermo Cervantes Rivas, and BMO for sharing their time, expertise, and resources to help our community build stronger businesses and brighter financial futures. by @kyccla
