a lot of people ask this question on internet. and here is my realistic answer to it.

as someone who decided to come back to Kyiv after 3 years living abroad, I can tell
reality feels different here. sometimes it’s very surreal, but one thing is true — it teaches you to value every moment you have.

if you ever come to here, my advice: stick with the locals. People around will always navigate you through all tough moments and share their insights about everything you need to know

and remember if you are truly interested in our culture — you are always welcome!

«No tourist is getting this map. Half these stops exist because I wanted something specific and had zero self-control that day. Made with @kyiv.calling, who asked how I actually spend my weekends and got this instead of the curated version.

Sunday me does not know Saturday me and would probably judge her. So Saturday is more active and social, and on Sunday I try to log off my devices and spend some quality time alone. I work closely with people, so I need at least one day to recharge»
