Oil and Lavender 🩶🪻

When I first learned this solo I was literally terrified of it. This piece is so different from any solo i’ve ever competed and is one that I would’ve never predicted would hold such a special place in my heart. I feel like this solo was just perfectly tailored to my strengths while also being incredibly challenging and i’m so grateful for @kate_alava and @modiz for sharing their artistry with me❤️‍🩹. Ive never performed a piece that has felt so me and has helped me grow such a strong passion for dance. It’s been so rewarding to see the journey that it has gone throughout this season and HUGE thank you to Mrs. @marylyn_wolf_ for cleaning and baring with me every single week all year, love you so much💞💞. by @kylam_dancer

it’s really difficult to put into words just how much i love @cliconservatory and how grateful i am for this space. everytime i go back, my passion for dance is reignited x100000000 and I’m instantly reminded of just how special the dance community is. in every class and every day i felt the insane amount of growth in my heart, mind and body. Cli is truly such a magical space filled with the most talented artists who are so open, and always willing to share their gifts.

@teddyforance , i’m endlessly grateful that you have orchestrated the conservatory to be what it is, and have poured so much of your heart into making it such a safe space for us to grow together as dancers and as people. there’s no place like it🤞❤️‍🔥

and to the green group🥹💓, thank you for being unapologetically yourselves 100% of the time. thank you for constantly filling the room with so much love, energy and support. i have a lifetime of memories with you guys from this week and i left feeling so incredibly inspired by all the talent that radiates off of all of you. i adored dancing with you, green eggs & bam 4ever ♾️💚🍳💥

this nationals was defffffffinitely a push but it was such a special and fulfilling experience. so much gratitude for all of the amazingly talented faculty and staff who work so hard to make sure we have endless opportunities for our future careers as dancers! thank you to all organizations and programs that participated in the panel, and a special thank you to @laestablishment , @montclair_dance , @brenaudance , @duncancooperworkshops , @shsudance , & @cliconservatory for the scholarships i received 🥹💓 i had the best time & i couldn’t be more excited for season 11🥳🥳

change is everything🖤🕷️

i thought this one deserved its own post:)) what a journey this piece has been, and how lucky am i that i got to perform it one last time at the @inferno.dance solo battle. thank you eternally @stef_allen for your mentorship and dedication to helping me reconfigure my mindset and stop being so negative towards myself. thank you for teaching me the difference between tearing myself down and simply noticing areas that have potential for growth. thank you for helping me appreciate the dancer that i am and the dancer that i am becoming, those 30 minute rehearsals will stick with me forever💓 by @kylam_dancer
