Looking back on some beautiful memories from Egypt in March this year 🇪🇬

It was such an incredible journey, and looking through these photos has me feeling excited all over again for what’s coming next March.

There’s something about Egypt that’s hard to put into words. The history, the energy of the places, the people you meet and the experiences you share along the way. It’s a journey that stays with you long after you’ve returned home.

I’m so looking forward to returning and sharing this experience with a new group of people.

And if Egypt has been on your mind, or you’ve been feeling drawn there for whatever reason, I’d love to welcome you along for this journey of exploration, connection and remembrance.

I got new head shots 📸 @hairbyelegant_masterpiece and wanted to welcome you to my page and let me reintroduce you to myself! I’m Kyla Rose 🌹 30 years young & a hair alchemist with 13+ years behind the chair and almost seven years at @salonadair (I can't believe it's been that long )

I can formulate your color, transform you with a haircut, a perm, a burst fade, a jellyfish cut, a Mohawk, rainbow hair, you name it & probably tell you what your planetary alignment is up to before your foils are done ✨🪐🤣

My grandfather & grandmother who I love so dearly @edgemasterusa have spent 30+ years sharpening/ teaching/ all things shears for stylists, and now my sister and I are carrying on the tradition. Apparently sharp tools and big personalities run in the family 😉

And the universe has a few more things cooking! ‼️

As some of you know I’m bringing some of that magic to events inside & outside the salon @themirrortemple 🪞✨
Big things are coming and I can't wait to share with you all what I've been working on ✨🤗

To my clients who have been with me through the years and all my different eras: thank you for trusting me with your hair, your stories, and sometimes your entire life update before the shampoo bowl. You’ve helped me grow into the stylist I am today, and I’m so grateful we’re still on this ride together. 🫶

I didn’t dream of escaping my life,
I dreamed of expanding it. ✨

Doing hair on such a beautiful hand crafted boat @magdalena.temple.boat along the Nile, surrounded by ancient temples, sacred symbols and thousands of years of beauty ritual, reminded me that my work was never meant to stay inside four walls.
The temple can exist wherever we are 🪽

This was more than a bucket-list moment. It was a glimpse of the life I’m creating: beauty, culture, connection and purpose & all on the same sacred journey.

I’m Kyla Rose I wanted to formally introduce myself 🫶🏻🌹
I am a hair alchemist, artist, and founder of Mirror Temple.

🪞✨Mirror Temple is not about vanity, It’s about remembering that beauty has always been part of the human ritual of care.

Long before beauty became an industry, people used hair, oils, cleansing, adornment and grooming to express identity, culture, status, devotion and belonging.

In March 2026 I traveled to Egypt and my life and view of the beauty industry completely shifted.

A salon appointment can still give you incredible hair.

But it can also give you a moment to return to yourself.

This is what I’m bringing into the collective.

After years behind the chair, I realized I don’t want to simply change the way someone’s hair looks.

I want to change the way we experience being cared for 🤍

𓂀 ✨LION'S GATE PORTAL

These past couple months have shifted my entire being.

There are moments in life that don’t make sense until you become the version of yourself who can understand why you were called there.

Standing beneath the Sphinx in Egypt, I felt something ancient in me become quiet enough to listen and it's now that I'm realizing what that was.

And now, under the Lion’s Gate, I’m thinking about that version of me with arms open, heart open, standing between everything I had been and everything I was becoming.

This Lion’s Gate, I’m calling in deeper alignment, purpose, love, creation and the courage to build the life I know I’m meant for.

Summer Solstice Hair Ritual 🌞✨ thank you to @theastralhealer for facilitating such beautiful sound and breath during our ritual 🙏
A night of crown care, nervous system softening, intention setting, breathwork, sound healing, and sacred scalp ritual inside The Mirror Temple.
This was more than beauty. This was a remembering.
Hair is energy. The scalp is sacred. The crown is where we hold so much stress, identity, intuition, grief, confidence, and becoming.
Thank you to everyone who stepped into this space with an open heart. And thank you to @lavandesandiego for creating such a beautiful space and to @lanzahaircare for supporting this ritual with products rooted in true hair health.

𓋹 Karnak Temple whispered to me that aging and protecting isn’t something to fear 𓂀
✨These temples didn’t stay beautiful because they were untouched.
They stayed beautiful because time gave them depth.
