Amazing what you can do when you lock the f*** in 🥹

March → June → September

I actually don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words what these last 7 months have taken from me but also what they’ve given me.

This prep has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done 😂 injuries, pain, physio appointments, tears, hunger, exhaustion, body dysmorphia, constantly overthinking whether I was doing enough, days I absolutely hated how I looked and days where I genuinely questioned if I could keep doing it.

But the hardest part of all of this has been doing it while grieving my mum. Trying to navigate the first year of my life without her while pushing myself harder than I ever have before has been a lot. There have been so many walks where I’ve cried, so many days I’ve wanted to give up and so many times I’ve wished I could just call her and tell her everything.

Somewhere along the way this prep became so much bigger than getting lean or stepping on a stage. It gave me something to hold onto during one of the hardest years of my life. Every step, every session, every hard day I kept showing up.

I’m honestly just so fucking proud of myself.

March me had absolutely no idea what was coming 😂 but she made a promise to you and she fucking kept it.

Tomorrow I get to step on that stage and show off everything I’ve worked so hard for and no matter what happens up there, I already know I did something I’ll be proud of forever.

For me, but also a little bit for you Mum 🤍

Honestly don’t even know where to start… 🥹

WHAT. A. YEAR. 😭🏆

What a challenge, what a journey and what an absolute rollercoaster!!

30 weeks of prep, my very first competition season, two shows and somehow walking away with more than I ever could have imagined, including my PRO CARD!! 🥹😭

To say I’ve surpassed every expectation I had for myself going into this season would be an understatement.

This year has challenged me in ways I never could have prepared for. There’s been tears, setbacks, injuries, self doubt, sacrifices and so many moments where I’ve had to dig deeper than I ever thought possible.

But wow, what a character building experience it’s been. It’s honestly such a bittersweet feeling knowing this chapter is coming to an end. I’m feeling all the emotions right now. So incredibly proud, grateful, happy, relieved but also a little sad that it’s all over.

I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved, but even more proud of the person I’ve become throughout this whole process. 🥹

Now it’s time to reverse, recover, rehab, find some balance again and enjoy all the little things I’ve missed over the last 30 weeks. 🤍

Definitely not goodbye to the stage, just the end of my first chapter. ✨

To everyone who’s supported me, encouraged me and been there throughout this journey, THANK YOU. It honestly means more than you know. 🫶🏼

And of course, to my beautiful mum. 🕊️

This journey was always about so much more than just stepping on stage. Losing you changed my whole world and somewhere amongst all the grief, the training and the hard days, this became something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

I wish more than anything you could’ve been here to see it all. But I carried you with me every step of the way and I hope I’ve made you proud. 💜

2026, you’ve been one hell of a year.

My first season, some tin and my Pro Card plus memories I’ll hold onto forever. 🏆🕊️

Everything I ate post show… 30 weeks of prep 20 kilos down and a whole lot of cravings to catch up on 🤤🍔🍪

Safe to say I understood the assignment! Now time to lock into the reverse, rehab and try grow these glutes 😂

1. Garlic bread & Apple crumble
2. Steak & Chips
3. Yo-Chi
4. Nandos
5. Korean fried chicken
6. Cookies
7. Lollies

PS: Do NOT recommend…. Stomach hated me the next day 🙃😮‍💨

Somewhere between the early mornings, endless cardio, training sessions, prep struggles and countdown to stage, I gained something I never expected… a beautiful friendship. 🥹🩷

Kyla, I honestly don’t think you realise just how much sharing this journey with you has meant to me.

Bodybuilding can be such a lonely sport. So much of the battle happens behind the scenes, in your own head, and having someone who just GETS IT is something pretty special.

We have shared the highs, the lows, the laughs, the struggles and all the emotions that come with chasing something that means so much to us both. And somewhere along the way, you became so much more than someone I was prepping alongside. You became a genuine friend. 🩷

And then to watch you step onto that @msfitnessaustralia stage and WIN YOUR PRO CARD!!! 🏆😭

I am SO incredibly proud of you.

I am genuinely in awe of you. Your strength, your determination, your heart and the way you have carried yourself throughout this entire journey. You deserve every bit of that moment, and seeing you achieve something you worked so hard for made my heart so happy.

One of the most beautiful things about this sport is that we can stand on the same stage, chase our own dreams and still want nothing but the absolute best for each other.

Thank you for being part of my journey, for understanding the moments that didn’t need explaining and for making this season so much more special.

The stage brought us together, but the friendship is what I’ll treasure most. 🩷

Welcome to the PRO club, beautiful girl. I am so bloody proud of you, and I cannot wait to cheer you on through everything that comes next.
