Thank God It’s Queer presents GO (1999) preceded by WAKING UP FROM A NAP ON A LONG DAY OF DOING NOTHING, the new short film by @thomjh (writer/director of MATINEE BABY and co-host of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW at the Clinton Street Theater).

Set on Christmas Eve, 1999, GO stars Academy Award-winner Sarah Polley as a checkout clerk who gets duped into buying ecstasy for a couple of gay narcs (Jay Mohr and Scott Wolff). From there, this twist-a-minute screenplay takes you on a ride that must be ridden to be believed. Featuring James Duval & Timothy Olyphant at their hottest, and jaw-dropping cameos by Jane Krakowski and Melissa McCarthy, GO is a turn-of-the-century flashback you didn’t know you needed.

About WAKING UP FROM A NAP ON A LONG DAY OF DOING NOTHING: “With the guidance of his best friend and mystical grandfather, a young painter–anxiously awaiting his first gallery show–embarks on a surreal skateboard odyssey through Portland to discover the true value of his art.” Featuring the Hollywood’s own @notcarlarossi, this award-winning film was shot in more than a dozen iconic Portland locations, made possible by a community crowdfunding campaign with over seventy-five local donors and sponsorships by more than thirty local businesses. Welcome to the art life. taken in The Hollywood Theatre by @kyle.dorfman
