I thank God for where I am today. I thank Him for all of the highs and the lows. I started my walk with Christ 4 years ago before my freshman year; growing up I wasn’t Christian, but when I was in 8th Grade my grandmother passed and I was lost. I didn’t want to do regular everyday things let alone do the hard stuff. But my childhood best friend Guiness invited me to Young Life. I’ve met people that aren’t friends they are family from high schoolers to leaders I thank every one of them. From there is was history I fell in love with God and I haven’t looked back. Life doesn’t get easier when you have Jesus you just have someone to hold your burdens, talk to, pray to, thank, and love. I am made new because of Christ! And Sin no longer controls me. Romans 6:11-14 “11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.” Thank you everyone who has been a part of my walk with Christ my walk is not over! taken in Alum Creek State Park by @kyle.sanson_7
