can’t believe it’s already over

The last four years of DC track and field have been the best of my life. Helping bring this team to one of the best seasons in school history and creating a winning culture have been some of the most fulfilling achievements in my life. I’m happy to have been a contributor and I’m ecstatic to see where the next generation brings this program. I’m thankful for all my teammates and coaches the past four years because I wouldn’t be where I am today without a single one. There isn’t a single other team I’d rather have competed for no matter what. I’m infinitely proud to be a charger and I don’t know where I’d be without the endless support from everyone along the way.

From stepping into this team freshman year and only ever dreaming of making the state finals, to then do just that makes me value my coaches and the work I’ve put in even more. Even though it may not have ended in the way I was hoping for, I wouldn’t have changed a thing about the journey here.

And to the next generations of Dundee Crown Track, go be great.
