No commentary on the vid today. These were both thrown at about 70% power with perhaps 5 degrees of anhyzer angle. The Dynamic Discs Mutiny is an overstable midrange DRIVER. When thrown with power and some anhyzer I can regularly get this mold out to 380ft and beyond. On a stock release (i.e. flat and level with the ground) the Mutiny will give you a flat straight flight with a dependable hyzer finish. I reach for the Mutiny when I can't reach the target with my Culprits but I don't want as much ground play as a Felon or Intent. In any condition the Mutiny is a mold that won't back down, and won't let you down. You can find them today at dynamicdiscs.com and use my team code (giovannini26) for a discount at checkout!

Wowzers, today was a good day. I am happy to report that the redesign of Hardaway Point at Badin Inn is officially playable! I have to shout out Matt and Mrs Jenn. Without their hard work and help (especially today, I may have overestimated my ability to hump baskets across a mountain solo 😆) there is no way we could have gotten this design completed this quickly. Here is the UDisc link to the course where you can check out the new map and the FOUR layouts available to chase PRs on: Hardaway Point - Badin, North Carolina
https://app.udisc.com/applink/course/27392

I look forward to hearing feedback on the course and enjoying it myself very soon! In the mean time, y'all should head over to dgscene and get signed up for Devin Grady's Spring Sting, a fundraiser for the new setup.

Photo dump from my most recent work day at Hardaway Point, just getting the newly cut fairways and greens weeded and de-cluttered. Things are really starting to shape up!

Alrighty yall! Here is the flyer for the Hardaway Point re-launch event. These will be the first official rounds scored on the new layout I have designed and been working on for the past few months. So if you have been following along at all and want to see that glorious final* product, then head out out for a fun day at Badin Inn and enjoy yourselves!

One of my favorite things to see on the front porch! This is the new Contender from Dynamic Discs. Initial inspection/feel almost looks like our Escape and Getaway had a bebe. I'll be getting out to a field this weekend to get yall a full breakdown of how it flies.

Snagged a fun blind ace today with my Dynamic Discs Supreme Raider. Hole 13 at Smith Lake Recreation DGC is a blind, dogleg right, about 360ft. I knew the throw was pure out of the hand but it made NO SOUND. I was so surprised when i came around the corner and the disc was just sitting in the basket like the pic shows. So unless a passing big-foot did me a solid, I got my second ace since moving to NC.

Well, 2025 is done and gone. It was another fun year working with Dynamic Discs, beginning in the KC area and ending in North Carolina. I played 11 events with too many awesome cardmates to count. My tourney season was marked by incredible rounds... as well as some real duds 😆

These were my best rounds of 2025:

1. Shawnee Mission Frostbreaker, rnd 1: 1065
2. Monkey Island Open, rnd 2: 1040
3. Capitol City Classic, rnd 1: 1035
4. USDGC Qualifier, rnd 1: 1043
5. Fall Sting Open, rnd 1: 1051

And these were my worst rounds:

1. Monkey Island Open, rnd 1: 978
2. Airborne Invitational, rnd 2: 956
3. Greater Raleigh Open, rnd 3: 984
4. True Timber Open, rnd 1/2: 985
5. Fall Sting Open, rnd 2: 969

Notice a pattern? I certainly do! My first rounds this season averaged WAY above my second or third rounds. One of my goals for the 2026 tourney season will be approaching every round like its a round ONE!

Headed into 2026 I am filled with excitement and thankfulness and I am honored to announce that i will once again be working with Dynamic Discs as a member of their Lucid Team.

Watch out for updates on community projects, events, tourneys, clinics, disc reviews, and even more!

Cheers to 2026!

Missed it by that much. I played well, but a few too many mistakes and a couple missed C2 putts kept me from securing a top 5 spot, and a USDGC slot. Winthrop Gold is a fun course, brutal certainly, but fun. Film doesn't do justice to how tight many of those OB lined fairways can be. I had fun, and it's hard to be upset about a top 10 finish amongst 100+ of the best players out there. Next Year!

Now it's time to hunt some late season B-tiers. I'll let yall know where my next tounrey is as soon as things are locked in.
