She said yes at golden hour in Laguna Beach. How could she not? 🌊💍

If you’re planning a proposal in Orange County or Long Beach and want it captured without her knowing I’m there, that’s exactly what I do. Hidden. Ready. Waiting for the moment.

DM me “PROPOSAL” and I’ll send you everything you need to know.

Why I Let My Clients Choose Their Favorites First

It’s funny how much taste can vary when it comes to photos. Some of the images I fall in love with after a shoot—the ones I feel most proud of—aren’t always the ones my clients connect with most. And sometimes the shots they absolutely adore are ones I barely considered special.

In the past, I’d spend hours fine-tuning, retouching, and perfecting the images I thought were the winners—only to find out they weren’t even top picks for my clients. So I shifted my process.

Now, after every session, I deliver a wide selection of lightly edited or unedited proofs. From there, my clients choose their favorites, and those are the ones I polish and perfect. This way, I don’t waste time editing images that don’t resonate, and the client gets exactly what they love most.

It creates a more collaborative, connected experience—where they feel heard, valued, and seen. And in the end, that’s what this work is really about. These photos are for them, not for me.

Do you agree? Ever loved a photo that your client (or your photographer) just didn’t connect with?
I’d love to hear your take in the comments

She said yes at Treasure Island in Laguna Beach. 💍

A few photos from Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. I made it out there just before sunrise, and the early morning marine layer created a dramatic quiet melancholy feel.

Every event has its own rhythm, and I'm there to move with it, not against it. 🎉

Whether it's a wedding toast, a milestone birthday, or a company gathering, my job is to stay close enough to catch the real moments and quiet enough that you forget I'm there. 📸

You get to celebrate freely. I'll handle the rest. ✨

Not every maternity session is just about the belly. 🤍 Sometimes it's about the whole family stepping into this new chapter together.

I love when I get to photograph that anticipation, the excitement before life changes again.

Hi, I'm Kyle! I'm a Huntington Beach based photographer specializing in weddings, portraits, maternity, and family sessions. If you're expecting or want to capture this season of life, I'd love to help you tell that story. 📸

Every proposal spot in Laguna Beach tells a different story 🌊

Picking the right one is about more than the view. Privacy, tide, crowds, and where I can wait without giving away the surprise all shape how the moment plays out 📍

I've photographed proposals across this coastline, and I always plan around what fits you two, not what looks good in a photo online 💍

Ask any Sweet 16 girl what she remembers about her party and it's never the timeline. It's how it felt. 📸

I shoot events the same way I'd want to be photographed at my own celebration, close enough to catch the real moments, far enough to let the night actually happen without a camera in everyone's face.

This one had all of it 🎉 DM me BIRTHDAY to check your date. 📩

Planning a proposal is equal parts logistics and nerves, and I love being part of that behind the scenes work 💍 scouting the spot, timing the light, and figuring out where to stand so nothing gives it away ✨

If you're thinking about proposing on the coast or want a relaxed engagement session instead, I'd love to help you plan it 🌊

Watching two people choose each other, again and again, never gets old. 💍

Whether you're already engaged or you're planning the proposal itself, I love being part of these moments. 📸

From the second the question gets asked to the celebration right after, it's a season worth capturing. ✨

If that's you, send me a DM with "ENGAGED" and let's talk. 📩
