it’s you&me🤍here’s to a lifetime of us!🥂2•28•25💍 by @kyleelaryy

it’s crazy how two years has felt like yesterday, and so long ago at the same time, because so much has happened without you. Gerrit and I got engaged, I graduated, and I got into Michigan (I’m really gonna be a social worker!). I wish I could tell you all I’ve learned and all the amazing people I’ve met, but how none of them will ever be you. I didn’t fully get what people meant when they said “I haven’t gone a day without thinking of you since you died”, but for the past two years, I’ve gotten it.
I love and miss you so, so much mama.🩷 by @kyleelaryy

engagements, weddings, graduating, and grad school, oh my! she ain’t over yet but 2025 sure had lots in store. very thankful for this year and the people in it🫶 by @kyleelaryy

the story of four:

I tell myself every year that there’s no need to write a whole sappy story on our anniversary, but screw it, let’s make it fun this year.
A little over four years ago, I got stuck at a bonfire with two guys and their guitars. One of those guys happened to be a kid named Gerrit. Some feelings and a kiss later, I knew there was something special about him.
One month of dating later, and my body decides, “Hey, a couple of months into your first semester of college is a great time for a hospital trip!” After at least half a dozen friends convinced me to go to the ER, there was one that stayed with me the whole time. Hours of sitting in the waiting room and tests go by. 11pm rolls around and I tell him to get home and get to sleep for school tomorrow, but he never does. He didn’t have to, but he stayed. At that moment I thought that there was something really special about this guy. For a second I said to myself, “Is this what people mean when they say ‘in sickness and in health’ in their wedding vows?”
Flash forward four years, and I don’t think either of us could have imagined what the world had in store for us. Between every ache and mile of distance are so many memories filled with love, joy, and light. And, as much as I’m loving UofM, I absolutely cannot wait to start our future together. You make me feel more loved than I thought possible and absolutely never fail to make myself or anyone else laugh. I’m truly beyond blessed to have you as my fiancé.
To the only man that would take care of me and hold my hair up when throwing up post appendectomy. In sickness and in health, right? I love you so much Gerrit; Happy four years of us! Can’t wait to celebrate with you this weekend❤️ by @kyleelaryy

been a couple too man “lasts” lately before the dreaded g word so here’s to honoring some of them💛(pretty much a phi sig post I have too many sisters for instagram to let me tag) (no sadly none of the animals are mine besides the giant cow) by @kyleelaryy

about three years ago, I came through the gates of Montreat, NC for the first time for Montreat College Conference ‘22. tomorrow, I finish my fourth and final college conference. I had no idea how much this place would have an impact on me when I first stepped into Anderson. not only has my religion and spirituality grown, but I’ve met people who have forever changed my life, and I have no doubt will continue to do so. beyond conferences, last summer, I got to live out a childhood dream and be the counselor I admired growing up to hundreds of kiddos, whom I could never forget. I couldn’t be luckier and more grateful to have found such an amazing second home with the best people🫶all my love forever MTR #ccm25 by @kyleelaryy

a mini end-of-semester recap, if you may: celebrated friends, did all things phi sig, worked and studied so much, loved my friends’ pets (Rey’s not pictured), life sucked (thank you therapy dogs), ate good food, spent time with good people, and life got a little better🫶last pic is the feeling thinking abt graduating next semester by @kyleelaryy

yesterday, on All Souls’ Day, heaven gained one of their most perfect angels. there’s so much to say and yet not enough words to describe how much grandma Fran (mama) meant to me. she was the true definition of strength. through every hit that life gave her, she never failed to still give her all to our family. her sassy, fun personality never changed through it all. she had one of the most kind, caring, and loving souls I’ve ever met. she taught me so much, yet there’s still so much I wish I could’ve asked. knowing her pain is gone is a peace we do have, but the ache on our family of her not being around here is permanent.
mama, I miss you and love you more than you know. say hi to great grandpa bud and aunt val for me🤍 by @kyleelaryy

mamma mia! here we go w/recruitment again!
