How did I get here?

Back in fall of 2019 I quit a very lucrative, stable, well paying corporate job to pursue my passion of real estate investing/flipping.

Little did I know six months later that the pandemic would jeopardize all of that. I worked an insane amount of hours flipping and working on real estate. I was stressed, exhausted and let my health deteriorate.

It got to the point where I wound up in a very dark place mentally. I felt like I had lost hope and the proverbial walls were collapsing around me. My relationship fell apart, business was struggling and I was miserable.

I ended up working with a top psychologist to help me learn so much more about myself. I discovered so much which led me to take ownership of all my issues. I learned that I was in control. I became obsessed with health and fitness and made it my number one priority. Hence why I am coming up to my 1000th straight day in a row of working out.

Fast forward to today, I am in the best physical shape I have ever been in my life. I have found new opportunities (even outside of real estate) such as coaching others, public speaking and even interviewing celebs on the red carpet. I have fostered incredible relationships. But most importantly, I’m the happiest I have ever been mentally.

I share this to not impress you but impress upon you that we are all dealing with our own shit and if you’re struggling please talk to someone. Seek advice and guidance and please know that whatever you are going through is just temporary. When in doubt say YES to new opportunities as you never know where they will take you and the people you’ll meet.

This life is beautiful and sometimes you just need the help of others to show you that.

I am so grateful for all of you and the impact you have had on me so thank you.

Let your actions speak louder than your words. 📣

It took years & years of practice of writing speeches, coming up with awe inspiring topics, studying top speakers, finding creative ways to captivate my audience, and being constantly critiqued and judged.

The best part of it all… the experience and opportunity of learning how to masterfully communicate to thousands of different people around the world. To look back to when I started to where I am today has been the most fulfilling. Having interviewed celebrities on the red carpet, to speaking on 100s of stages to thousands of people, to being trained by some top speakers in the industry I am happy to announce that I am ready to share my knowledge and teachings with the world.

Most will agree that communication is the life blood of not only business but how we connect & converse with every person on the planet. Yet so many of us do not take the opportunity to become better at this critically important skill. It’s fitting and evident that the fear of public speaking is the number one fear in the world (even more-so than death).

What I took from the corporate world…

Before becoming an entrepreneur, I spent years as a Project Manager.

And looking back, project management taught me a lot about business.

You can have a great idea, but if you can’t execute, it means nothing.

You need to know:

How to lead a team

What’s the deadline?

What could go wrong?

And what needs to happen next?

One of the biggest lessons I took from corporate into entrepreneurship:

Execution beats intention.

A lot of people know what they should do.

Far fewer have the discipline and systems to actually get it done.

That’s true whether you’re managing a major project or building your own business.

Ideas are easy.

Execution is the hard part. The businesses that grow aren’t always the ones with the best ideas. They’re the ones that consistently execute. by @kyleguthro

Huge thank you to the entire team behind the Blockchain Futurist Conference for having me as your emcee.

I’ll be the first to admit — blockchain isn’t my world. But great communication is, and I got to spend the conference doing what I love most: speaking from stage and connecting with founders and business owners at my booth, helping them find the words to explain what they’re building and showing them how to scale and grow their businesses.

Grateful for the invite to MC , the conversations, and the reminder that no matter the industry, the same rule always holds — sales and speaking are transferable skills, and clarity wins every time.

A confused mind never buys.

Not because your offer is bad.
Not because your price is too high.
Not because the market “isn’t ready.”

It’s because they don’t understand what you’re actually saying.

Here’s what happens when your messaging is unclear:

→ Prospects nod along, then ghost.
→ People say “sounds interesting” and never buy.
→ You get compliments, not clients.

Confusion doesn’t feel like rejection. It feels like silence. And silence is the most expensive thing in your business.

Clarity isn’t about dumbing it down. It’s about making it so simple, so specific, that a stranger could explain what you do after hearing you once.

If your marketplace can’t repeat back what you do in one sentence — they can’t refer you, they can’t remember you, and they definitely won’t buy from you.

Say less. Say it clearer. Watch what happens.

Brooks, these have been the best two years of my life. 🎂 Watching you grow has brought so much joy — to me, to your mom, and to everyone who gets to know you. That childlike curiosity, the fun, the excitement — you brought all of it back into my life.

Watching your favourite movie, The Grinch with you for the 50th time. Chasing you around the park until we’re both out of breath. Watching you discover new skills, new words, new ways to see the world — I’m so honoured I get to witness and experience it every single day with you. You have made me so extremely happy.

Today we got to celebrate you surrounded by the family and friends who love you most, and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. I can’t wait to keep watching you grow and celebrating every milestone ahead but please time slow down. I want these moments to last forever ❤️ Happy birthday my son. by @kyleguthro
