Babylon // About a month ago, I got rid of all social media. Instagram sucks - and my time away from it has been extremely rewarding. For the past several weeks I have been working on a project titled “Babylon” inspired by old greek (or in this case, Babylonian) architecture. This project has been a journey, and i’m not totally sure when I’m going to fully finish it, but i’ll share my progress as I go. Making art without the burden of having to show it to everyone has been freeing. I believe that using social media as a tool just to create instead of to consume will allow me to follow through on larger projects like this. There exists a ceiling to the quality of the “everyday” art that people make - and I understand it is a great way to learn and improve, i’m just looking to do something a little greater.
After I post this i’m getting off of insta again. If you want to reach me figure it out haha.

Hyperlotus //

Over the past several weeks I have been interested in the anatomy of flowers. The strong contrast between 3d computer design and the organic shapes of nature inspired me to try to make my own floral patterns - but with my own abstract twist. I hope you guys like the results because I plan on making a series out of this idea! Cool flowers to come.

Hello! I just finished a new project titled “Aero”!

Aero was a personal project to explore Formula 1 symbolism and aerodynamic form. I had a ton of fun making the visuals and improving my design direction for this project!
