It's crazy how little things that are seemingly meaningless to the rest of the world can hold such a big place of meaning inside of your own heart. This little golf course and community probably mean nothing to 99.99% of the world, but to me it is a safe place that I can feel at home and not worry about the rest of the world. It is a place where I used to pack a suitcase that said " going to Grandma's for the weekend". It holds memories of alligators coastal birds, golf carts, swimming pools and pool tables. The environment surrounding this place was always filled with mysterious country rows lined with orange trees. It's the Okeechobee River. It has always been my home away from home and I'm so very grateful that I can still enjoy it today as much as I did when I was 12 years old. This place holds a unique spot in my heart in memories. by @kylekg123

This nightmare decided to make camp between my side mirror and driver side door last night in an effort to greet me this morning. I also realized today that my fearful scream is similar to the shriek of a 9 year old girl. by @kylekg123

Almost 16 years ago my brother and I were given the opportunity to adopt two dogs who were also brothers. We named them Shadow (Adams Dog) and Ceaser (My Dog) when I had a great career opportunity to move the Florida unfortunately where I've moved into would not allow me to take Ceaser. Thankfully I have wonderful parents who loved him and said they would watch over him until I moved into a place that would allow him to be there. It wasn't very long after Caesar arrived at my parents that we would eventually lose our family dog Abby of 17 years. When I would come home to visit I started to recognize that Caesar loved where he was at and my parents loved him- it was never spoken out loud but I knew that he likely wouldn't be living with me again and he never did. He made the pool house completely his while also guarding the backyard and swimming pool. As he got older he started to slow down, he started to go deaf, and he started losing his eyesight as well. Most recently he has had the issues walking and has developed a large cyst on his backside that has grown over time and started to severely impact his quality of life. Because of this we have made the decision to put him down today. He was the first dog I ever was able to call mine and he was the best guard dog that I've ever had. Although I've missed you for years I'm going to greatly Miss coming home and not being able to go see you. I love you buddy and just know that your brother Shadow is waiting on you- along with Abbie, Maggie, and Sadie. I can't wait to see you again on the other side. by @kylekg123

Teddy really loves it when I pull out the air mattress and we sleep in the living room. Tonight I said "why not? let's do it. Just promise you won't pop a hole in this one like you did the last one." As I am getting it set up- just putting a blanket on top he runs as fast as he can, slides into it, let's out a yelp, and in the most uncoordinated way possible half way jumps on the air mattress. I said "Teddyyyy please tell me you didn't just pop a hole in the mattress!!" He said "Nah we good fam 😉" 🤦🏼‍♂️ by @kylekg123
