🚨 HEY POTTSTOWN! 🚨SPECIAL SCREENING 🚨

🎬 20 YEARS LATER. A FILM. A FRIEND TO REMEMBER.

Tonight at 8 PM, the Pottstown Film Festival will present a special screening of DISPLACEMENT, a special screening of a festival founder and director Kyle Klaus earliest projects nearly 20 years ago.

This screening is especially meaningful as we honor friend and the film’s director, Matthew Berardi, who unexpectedly passed away last month.

DISPLACEMENT represents the true spirit of independent filmmaking.

“We had no money. We borrowed equipment, created our own special effects, recruited friends and family as cast and crew, and spent money we didn’t have on editing and equipment. Somehow, through it all, we got the film finished and in front of an audience.”

“We didn’t have a budget. We had a vision, a group of friends, and the determination to make a movie.”

Twenty years later, we get to bring it back to the big screen to celebrate what was created and, more importantly, honor Matt’s life, creativity, and friendship, and experience during those formative years. ❤️

Reach out to me personally if you have questions and for discounts on festival passes - Kyle @kyleklaus

DISPLACEMENT Film Synopsis: What if you could not distinguish the dream world from the real world? Maerd is displaced somewhere in between. As Maerd’s world unravels before his eyes, he is sent on a downward spiral into the unknown.

🎥 TONIGHT AT RIVET – POTTSTOWN

8 PM – DISPLACEMENT
Special screening followed by a few words and discussion about the making of the film.

🎬 BLOOD & GUTS
Our Saturday night headliner, followed by a live Zoom Q&A with the filmmakers!

🍻 AFTERPARTY – JJ RATTIGAN’S
Join us on High Street until close!

Come out, enjoy some great films, celebrate friendship, support independent filmmaking, and have a fun Saturday night in our hometown!

Happy 250th Birthday 🇺🇸

The older I get, the more grateful I am to have been born in this incredible country.

The more I experience life, the older I get, and the more I travel, the more I realize what a privilege it is to call America home. I have such an appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who came before us and for the opportunities they fought to preserve.

I don’t take any of it for granted.

Today is a reminder that freedom and opportunity are gifts worth appreciating—and making the most of. Whatever your dreams are, pursue them. This country has given so many of us the chance to build a life that previous generations could only imagine.

Happy 250th, America. 🇺🇸 God Bless

What an awesome reunion. 🍾🍻

So great reconnecting with so many amazing people and seeing everyone come together after all these years.

Really glad I was able to help put together a little something beforehand and make the pre-reunion gathering a little extra special for everyone.

A lot of good memories, a lot of laughs, night I won’t forget.

So grateful for everyone who came out. Cheers to 25
