Maya 💛We recently found out she had a large mass in her chest, but you never would have known—she never complained and was still her same happy, loving self. Sadly, this morning we said goodbye to Maya as she passed peacefully at home.She was almost 12 (June 30—one day after my birthday), and somehow we always celebrated like it was her weekend… which, to be fair, it was.Maya was truly the dream family dog—a once-in-a-lifetime dog. Everyone’s best friend, always just happy to be there. Over the last two years, she was also the best big sister to Rosie—a bit apprehensive at first tho haha.As she got older, I didn’t get to see her as much, but every time I did we were both so excited. It still doesn’t feel like enough time, but she gave us more than we could have ever asked for.I know there’s a beach where you’re headed, and I hope you’re digging tirelessly. 🌈 by @kylemcronin

Bodega Run, V2 - a nonverbal pilgrimage from SF to LA.Four days. San Francisco to Los Angeles. Predominantly smooth buttery tarmac with the occasional geological test of endurance. Huge thank you to @matthewwiebe and the @awaymessage.cc crew who cooked up something special this year with sunsets over the Pacific and endless stretches of California coastal ridgeline. But the true beauty, the constant source of laughter and stories, was the shared absurdity with everyone. Bodega V2 had broken me, yes, but it had also somehow glued me back together in a much more interesting shape. See everyone next year 🫶 by @kylemcronin

ROADTRIP! Packed up the smallest tool and headed north for a big job up in WA. Five amazing days of taking my bike on a hike, racing backcountry terrain, and washing the pain down at the cocktail lounge every night (twist my arm). Big thanks again to @transcascadia crew for putting on such a cool event and all the hard work that went into the trails!
