May 10, 2025 I will be walking across the stage.
This is so bittersweet , but when one door close another opens.

To the Educational Oasis of the Delta—my dear old MVSU (Mississippi Valley State University):

When I first came here in 2021, I didn’t know what to expect. I never imagined I’d find a family in this place or build half the bonds and relationships that I did. I became part of something bigger than myself. Through student leadership opportunities, the incredible faculty and staff I connected with, and the friendships I formed across campus, Valley became so much more than just a school.

I came to Valley for one thing—softball—but when that chapter ended for me, I realized I had so much more to offer beyond being part of a sports team. I’ve grown tremendously, not only as a scholar (always been that though!), but also as a leader and in many other areas of life.

As this undergraduate chapter comes to a close, I just want to thank you, MVSU, for giving me the best college experience—through all the highs and the lows. From the tears I cried outside my department building, to the deep history I learned about you, to the unwavering spirit and support I received and gave—you have shaped me in ways I’ll forever be grateful for.

I wear my Crimson and Crème that is every womens Dream.

To Eta Alpha (HA), thank you for placing me in spaces with amazing women I never imagined I’d be among. Thank you for the unwavering support. Thank you to the 28 new sisters who may not always see eye to eye, but always come together to handle business.

This chapter of my life allowed me to build new bonds and form meaningful connections — and for that, I will always be grateful.

Even though my undergraduate journey has come to an end, to the 20 Crimson F.L.A.M.E.S — I’ll always be one call away , even though y’all give me a headache i’ll always cherish bonding with you girls.
To my line sisters, the Divine 29 N.E.W. E.R.A — I also want to thank y’all for the tears we cried, the laughs we shared, and the memories we made. No matter what happens, I’ll never forget how far we’ve come — because we were far in the distance at one point.
