Heaven gained the best one there is. April 23rd my world was completely flipped upside down. Dad, I have no idea what I’m gonna do without you and I love you so so much. Never in a million years did I think that the hug and forehead kiss you gave me yesterday morning like you have so many times before would be the last. I know you’ll always be watching over me and I will do everything I can to continue to make you proud. I know you will always be rooting for me and betting on me just like you always have. I will continue to work hard for anything I want just like you taught me and I will always do my personal best and not waste a second of it. I aspire to be half the person you were, the person who was always willing to lend a helping hand, go out of their way to make someone smile or hold the door for them, be the person people felt they could rely on, and most importantly to love and care the way you did. Thank you for being my rock, my best friend, and my number one supporter. 17 years with you will never be enough, but I am beyond thankful for them.
