Happy birthday to my little girl!

I’m in tears writing this as I can’t believe you’re already one years old. You no longer make accidents in the house, tear up my things, cry when in your cubbie, or are confused about what “sit” means. You now know to ring your bell when you need to go outside, what the word “kisses” means, when dinner time is, and what bananas are. I used to wish those baby days would fly by so I never had to scrub the carpet again or pick up my chewed up socks. Now, all I wish is for it to all slow down.

Honey Mae, my sweet princess. You saved me in more ways than you could ever imagine. I will always be happy to clean up the stuffing of your new toy I just bought you. I will always be happy to take you to the park where you roll around in mud. And I will always be happy to kiss you goodnight before you fall asleep on my ankles. All I ask is from you is to wish that time can slow down too.

I love you so much Honey Mae.
