I finally got to head to a local spot I’ve been dying to go to. Inspired by the blue-collar oyster bars in New England, Found Oyster intersects classic East Coast seafood shacks with West Coast flavors. With friendly staff, a beautifully designed space, and FRESH food, this place is definitely a must-try, ESPECIALLY during their low tide (happy hour) where you can get an ice cold $10 martini.

I tried their Vinland Oysters, Prawn Toast, Grilled Hokkaido Scallop Skewers, & Keylime Pie
All were incredibly fresh and delicious.

I’m currently reading Iron Gold, the fourth book in the Red Rising series. It’s excellent, but Piece Brown is doing perspective shifts and I’m scared he’s gonna kill more characters (he will).

The staff were incredible! I felt taken care of, and loved talking to everyone at the bar. We talked about the new expansion the Found Oyster just finished and celebrated how busy they always are since I walk by The Found Oyster almost daily.
I sat at the bar, but they have booth, high top, & outdoor seating.

Definitely found a new Happy Place 💗🦪🙂‍↕️

Just a girl and her love for Larchmont Wine & Cheese 🧀

As a baby, I used to eat slices of bread as a snack… so anything carb related is my personal heaven. and I’m from the Midwest so cheese flows in my blood.

In this video I show one of my fav wines (yes the bottle is empty. It’s because I enjoyed it instead of filmed it LOL) Ameztoi Getariako Txakolina. It has a mix of sea spray and citrus flavor that is the perfect wine for the summer. When grabbing this bottle the cashier informed me there is someone who comes and buys multiple bottles of it every time they visit. I must meet them to share our love for its crispness.

I get the Sopressata Salami sandwich while Carlin gets Conquistador sandwich. Both are excellent, highly recommend 🤞🏻 also the gherkins given with your sandwich are always a great touch. 💚

anyway, much love @larchmontvillagewine

I may be sick, but I’m feeling very grateful to live in LA, eat good food, and have a lovely partner ☺️
Tbh I think that’s the soup talking.

I had the Mala Sulung Tang which is the Spicy Ox Bone Soup with Beef Brisket. (Shout out to our host who showed me exactly how much salt should go in it, you’re the best) Mala is a type of numbing Szechuan spice that has a sensation like no other. It is one of my favorite types of spice. You get to experience extreme heat but can still enjoy the flavor of the broth and brisket. It also won’t overpower other dishes as you switch between the Mala and other foods. If you like spicy food and have never had Mala, I highly recommend it. @carlinstiehl had the cold beef broth and chilled noodles with brisket. It was the perfectly refreshing noodle after a long hot week of work.
We also got a Chive pancake for some extra crunch and it was STUFFED with chive (10/10) The Banchan served with our meal was excellent. I loooove Radish Kimchi :)

transitioning from posting for fun, to posting under a high pressure environment, to now having a job that allows me to pursue social media professionally has left me looking at my own dusty pages recently… and it’s time to confront my aversion to posting here. 😅😂
Here’s a little ramble as I set a goal to make a personal post at least once a week. and post whatever the hell I want. no pressure. ^-^ all fun.

If there is anything YOU’D like to see let me know in the comments, no guarantees though 🥹🤞
