Being appointed to the South Atlantic Comms Committee is no easy feat.
Often met with early mornings and late nights but we show up, and we show out.

Now we know I’m no stranger to communications,
but this opportunity allowed me to blend two passions: communications and the performing arts.

For the past 4️⃣years, I’ve had the honor of serving as Co-Producer of the SAR Production Committee:
from concepts and scriptwriting, to dancing (1 year) and even a little ghostwriting rap lyrics 🤭 along the way,
to coordinating hundreds of Sorors moving as one.

But none of this happens without the Sorors of the Significant South Atlantic Region
who answered the call every time
and left it all on the floor.

To @roblena and the sisters of SAR communications team,
thank you for lending your talents from editing scripts to recording voiceovers when needed; your impact was felt in every production.

And to MY PARTNER YOLANDA!!!! @fame1908
producer extraordinaire, choreographer, dancer, creative and costume designer….
your TALENT is UNDENIABLE, and your choreography brought each concept and every script to life.
It has truly been a joy to work with you and experience your genius up close & personal as we’ve continued to elevate each production year after year.

This regional conference season hit different. 💗

Celebrating 30 years of sisterhood… I’ve been reflecting on the journey that started so early for me. At just 20, my Graduate Advisor gave me the name “Super Soror.” At the time, I didn’t fully grasp the weight of it but I’ve grown into it over the years.

Since 19, I’ve had the privilege of leading and serving in this sorority. To me, “Super Soror” has never been about perfection—it’s about showing up as a hard worker, thinking strategically, and most importantly, building meaningful relationships.

Over the years, I didn’t always get it right (I’ll blame a little of that on immaturity), but my heart has always been in the right place. As one of my Golden Sorors once told me, “you have the heart for Sorors.” That has stayed with me.

It does not escape me how special it is to lead, serve, and grow in the South Atlantic Region while maintaining the cherished relationships in the place I will always call home…Central.

Here’s to legacy, growth, and sisterhood that stands the test of time. 💚💗

Thank you for showing us that brilliance has no size, no limit, and no single look. Thank you for walking into rooms that were never built for you and making them expand to fit your presence, your voice, your history.

You carried Black Southern grace with you — a dignity shaped by ancestry, intellect, and restraint — while embodying fashion as scholarship and style as resistance. You reminded us that fashion was culture, that clothes held memory, and that being Black in luxury spaces is not audacity, it is LEGACY.

You advocated for designers of color before the world decided it mattered. You spoke names, told stories, and insisted on lineage. Through your example, you became a style inspiration (for me and many others) not rooted in trend, but in truth — teaching us that we did not have to shrink, soften, or assimilate to belong.

In Sagittarius math, December 1–31 belongs to us. ♐️🤷🏽‍♀️

My birthday was 12/03, but I’m posting on 12/30—still 1-2-3 in my mind. 🤭

Thank you for ALL the birthday love that truly had me in a chokehold as I ushered in the final chapter of my 40s. 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

Surviving my 40s? Whew. These were the new Wonder Years.
And listen… 47 and first quarter of 48 damn near took me out—IYKYK.
But I didn’t just survive… I thrived. 🫶🏽🙌🏾💅🏾

Pink Pizzazz 2025: The Pink Luxe Edition gave exactly what it was supposed to give… elegance, chic, posh, refinement, and pure fun.

It was truly my honor to serve as Chairman for @aka_nlo & @pearlsofpurposefoundation signature event. I remember sitting in one of my very first NLO meetings in 2018 thinking, “One day, I’m going to chair Pink Pizzazz…and it’s going to be fabulous.”

Fast-forward to now: countless late nights, emails, mood boards, and miracles later… it was all worth it. I’ve created beautiful experiences before, but this one? This one hit different. It stretched me, challenged me, and reminded me what intention + sisterhood can build.

And speaking of sisterhood…the entire Pink Pizzazz Committee—you were the brilliance behind every detail. Dedicated. Visionary. Unshakeable. A committee of glam, grit, and grace.

To the PPP aka the Motley Crüe—this is just the beginning. 💕💚💕

To my family and friends cheering me on from near and far—thank you for every prayer, text, and talk. No matter how many events I’ve done, your support each time is just as special as the first time.
