my baby “Blue” is out in the world! and that wouldn’t be possible without the incredibly talented folks that contributed to the creation of this song: thank you @kristindaelyn for writing this stunning fingerpicking pattern on the guitar! your playing brought such a beautiful sorrow to the song and it is the foundation from which everything else could bloom. @emanuelpavon_cello thank you for being so in tune with the emotions of this song and bringing such a gentle power to the cello solos. absolutely breathtaking watching you work. and @yuri_villar i can’t wait til more songs we worked on are released into the world! you’re an incredible talent and human being. thank you for helping me create such a lush bed of sound on this song. @mixedbykat it’s because of you that I scrapped my first “final” vocals and sang this version, and i’m so grateful for that! i went in the booth and “sang to her” and it made a world of difference. and thank you for this mix and master, it’s my favorite we’ve done together 🥹 @gunnarbrittany watching you build this sculpture was so special. thank you for making us into a piece of art. i love that we’re now all holding each other in a sculpture that can live untouched by time like this 💙 lyric video coming soon 🐇 thank you so much to everyone who has been listening and messaging me about this one. it means so much to me #indiefolk #singersongwriter by @kynsmusic
my new song Blue is out this Friday <3 it would mean a lot if you pre-save it! not sure what that even does to release metrics anymore but doesn’t hurt to click a couple buttons and hit the link in my bio right? if it hurts, definitely don’t do it xoxo it was such a pleasure recording and editing the amazing cello parts @emanuelpavon_cello (🙏 @wearemusiversal ) played on this song as well as the fingerpicking guitar @kristindaelyn played throughout which carried the whole song. so grateful for you two #indiefolk #cinematicindie #singersongwriter by @kynsmusic
TONIGHT 🚨 is the @mtvcatfish season 9 premiere and I’ve got almost a full minute of one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made playing in it. “Never Learned” getting placed in Catfish is truly fitting considering these sweet souls keep getting catfished for 9 seasons straight 🥲🩵 and I’m so excited and SO grateful for my family over at @thinkmusicinc for reeling it in. (🎣 had to) tune in tonight to see who never learned! #catfish #MTV Song shoutouts: @kristindaelyn and her guitar talents @mixedbykat always there for me <3 mastered by @mobtownstudios by @kynsmusic
finally announcing some cool syncs landed this year while i was dissociating in the hospital ✌️☺️but better late than never! i have SUCH gratitude for @tomrhodesmusic and @hustlestandard for bringing me on such a fun ride, Low Tide has landed multiple syncs now, most recently in a Gerard Butler film (young me [and old me] is screaming) called Kandahar, and it even had a write up in the NY Times! (swipe to read) And alssooo a song I worked on with the talented @rob_kleiner and @andykongmusic got featured on an episode of @magnumpi 🌞 it’s clear that alongside the hardships of this year, there has been so much good, and i’m so grateful to @thinkmusicinc for making it happen. and to life for always throwing me a bone when things get tough 🦴🙏💛 xox by @kynsmusic

Y’ALL my new single The Driver is out in TWO WEEKS on JULY 1ST ✨🌿🧚 and this is my first of many attempts to get you to pre-save (link in bio). Help a gurl get some Spotify pre-love by following the link, pre-saving, and telling ya friends. I cannot wait to share this music with you after such a long battle with my health. I’ll talk about it more soon but for now I’m just GIDDY xoxox Marie #newmusic #indiefolk #folktronica #singersongwriter #musicproducer #indieartist by @kynsmusic
Celebrating wins both big and small this week! 1) a song that @tomrhodesmusic @hustlestandard and I wrote is airing on March 7th in a new episode of @thegooddoctorabc 🙌 thank you @thinkmusicinc for making it happen! Go check out this song “Low Tide” and more on their new EP Santa Fe on all the usual platforms! Such wonderful and talented humans 🤍 you’ll be hearing more from us this year! 2) I’m home from the hospital and on the mend with my favorite people and pets 🌿🕊 3) I had my first bite of tomato sauced pizza in over 6 years (gave it up due to my illness, but can now try to reintroduce it post-surgery) and it was such a beautiful moment haha. Happiness is a warm pizza, truly. 🥲 Life is such a worthwhile ride ❤️‍🩹 thank you to everyone sending me support and healing. I’m starting to feel a little better day by day and I feel your love and it means everything to me.
