doing makeup for years but STILLL unhappy with your style? a no bs guide to how to find ideal makeup that suits yourself 🫶🥹

everyone talks about face shape, but eye shape, specifically the slant of your palpebral fissure, is one of the most critically underrated features to look out for before choosing a makeup style to follow!

using myself as an example, i have a positive canthal tilt, which explains why my eyes look small and narrow and traditional eye-enlarging techniques may have the opposite effect :( after looking through examples of celebrities with positive canthal tilt and jow they do their makeup, i realised that agyeosal makeup plays a more important role in giving my eyes the balance it needs to cancel out the positive tilt: artificially adding shadows to mimic a lower latheral canthus. i would elaborate more on what i do with my eye makeup to fix this but thats for another day 😅

theres a common saying “i have two sides” and it really is true! (for some people)
there WILL BE a certain vibe that fits you mlre than others

for a long time i went with the cute girl vibe since it was the most straightforward and popular way of “glowing up”, but now I realised that I kind of want people to take me seriously, and this makeup style won’t get me anywhere near that…

> when buying products, go for range>quality first
> try as many styles, maybe one new style every work day! doesn’t have to be complicated just TRY SOMETHING NEW!
> u learn something new about yourself every day this way :)

i tried grunge makeup for the first time BUTTT a lot of tutorials are done on eurocentric features so the outcome isn’t optimised for chinese-esqe facial features, i learnt to be more bold with eyeshadow here.

a lot of people take their makeup from ONE angle and if it looks bad its over. Makeup can honestly look better from the side, 3/4 or from a higher angle

after taking different angles, try in normal room lighting, sunlight, with source light from various angles to see how your makeup will look in different environments and from there

simple 15min makeup i PROMISE this will make u look KAWAIII with big juicy eyes 🤍🫦🤍

make sure to prep ur base first! use foundation if u like but i personally love this setting powder bc it evens out my complexion with just ONE swipe it is SO CONVENIENT 😍

lets add blush! u can use powder or blush stick just apply as seen in the photo :) put some on your chin for a more contoured and small face look but BE CAREFUL do NOT put too much if not you’ll look sunburnt :(

eyeshadow time!! apply as seen in the photo mainly around the eyes and contouring your nose B) this was PERFECT DIARY’s lunar new year special edition palette and i am in LOVE!! make sure to use thin brush for your agyeosal as well!!!! main points:::
- outer eye corner 👁️
- outer agyeosal 🍑
- agyeosal fold 🍑
- fake double eyelid fold 👁️
- nose bridge 👃
- nose tip 👃

i hope u remembered to draw your agyeosal :3 time for eyeliner on the outer corner and inner corner of your eyes :)

any lipstick of your choice!! preferably lighter shades that is similar / same as your blush colour!!! 👄

I got this question a lot so I’m finally being transparent about my earnings! I know most people tend to keep it a secret and whatnot but I think as a customer you’d at least want to know what youre getting into 🥲

Most people DEFINITELY charge more this is alr on the lower side btw. They usually come with training background, bigger set ups and more flexibility for remote work. Being a student means I do not have the means of pursuing this full-time 😓 I compared with some jobs that I have worked previously and jobs that I have heard from friends around my age, so the salary comparison here is what people around 18-20 earn doing part time work on AVERAGE.

The number of clients fluctuates and typically increases as the frequency of events increases especially towards the end of the year!
