I had the honour of photographing the Vancouver Military Dinner again this year at the Vancouver Club. This event celebrates members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans, and the broader civilian community. It is a special opportunity to experience a formal Mess Dinner while supporting veterans and their families through Wounded Warriors Canada. I am so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this extraordinary event. taken in The Vancouver Club by @kyrajames

This is the best moment of my entire life 😭 we were all waiting for them with no sight of them for ages and then OUT OF NOWHERE they surfaced below Lions Gate Bridge and it was amazing beyond words. This family is the T123s with the iconic Stanley with the huge fin. It’s such a privilege to be in the same world as these beautiful animals. 🫍🫶🏻🥹

Magic hour Matilda ✨ I guess she has a mirror because she is very aware of how beautiful (and giant) she is! Lucky for me she knows her angles and let me hang out with her during the prettiest light. There’s a funny one at the end to bring her down to earth a bit! 📸😄

There’s lots of summer left ☀️ but holiday season is approaching and I’m thrilled to partner with Namastables for holiday photos! Bring your pets, bring your people, enjoy the beautiful farm! The best part is that each session includes a donation to Namastables to support the work they do to care for rescued animals 🐴🐐🦙🐑💕

Booking link is in my bio and spots are limited 🙂 taken in Namastables by @kyrajames

My first time seeing thunder and lightning in Vancouver! Ooo exciting, and enjoyable that it’s more chill and less scary than storms at home!

I’m catching up on some editing and I had not even realized on that epic orca sighting day, May 3, that I had these epic photos!!! This was my best sighting yet! T123 Sydney, T123A Stanley, T123C Lucky, T123D D’Arcy, and I think T86A1 Nahanni and her calf T86A1B Denali! Correct me if I am wrong on these IDs but I am 99% sure! Yay Vancouver!
