Life has really been testing me lately.

Losing my grandmother hurt in a way I can’t fully explain. Not long after, I had to say goodbye to my dog who had been with me through so many years of life. Grief has a way of changing your comfort zone and making even the strongest people feel alone sometimes.

At the same time, I’ve still been showing up every day as a full-time coach and teacher, trying to pour into kids who look up to me. Coaching 5th grade boys this season and winning a championship was a blessing and a reminder that hard work still pays off, even during hard times.

Putting together the best Field Day possible for these kids gave me purpose when life felt heavy. Sometimes people only see the smiles, energy, and celebrations, but behind that can be exhaustion, loneliness, pressure, and pain.

Being an adult is hard. Life situations are hard. But I’m learning that even through grief, heartbreak, stress, and feeling lost sometimes… you still keep going.

“Today I turn 26. 🎉

This past year has taught me that life isn’t always easy. There have been victories, challenges, lessons, losses, and moments that tested my faith. Through it all, God has remained faithful.

As I step into this new year of life, I’m not focused on being perfect—I’m focused on growing, trusting God more, and becoming the man He has called me to be. Every setback taught me something, every blessing reminded me of His goodness, and every day was another opportunity to keep moving forward.

I’m grateful for the people who have supported me, prayed for me, and encouraged me along the way. Most importantly, I’m thankful that God has carried me through every season and never left my side.

Chapter 26 begins today. I don’t know everything this year will bring, but I know Who walks with me. With faith, purpose, and gratitude, I’m ready for whatever comes next.

4 months down going into my teaching and coaching position these kids made me proud to be their coach. I'm not just only their coach but a Father Figure, Mentor, and Counselor. They opened up a new chapter in my life that I'm blessed to have. Merry Christmas!❄️🎄🎁 by @kyren_brown2

Firstly, giving honor to God who is the head of my life. Without him I am nothing. How do you sum up four years of what they call the most important time of your life? All I can say is to God be the glory. It has been through nothing but the grace of God that I made it this far and I want to thank him publicly for all that he does countless times privately.
