Took my time arriving to the New Year post because I’m still recalibrating, still integrating, still landing from it all 🍂

This year has been full spectrum, so many beautiful memories, relationships, and moments that cracked my heart open in the best way.

Deeply grateful for the path I’m on and the ways it’s shaping me into the man I am today. None of it would be possible without the people who support me and continue to walk alongside me.

Last year, I watched in awe as someone spun a dragon staff at sunrise this year, it’s me living the dream. 🔥

Grateful for this journey and the magic that continues unfolding. Even through the darkest moments, I continue to trust my fire.

It took me a while to look thru these photos because they bring up a lot of emotions but here are just a few of the magical moments I got to experience this year at burning man.

It honestly wasn’t all great, it was hard, annoying, disappointing and tested so many parts of myself. I had so much attachment to how I wanted it to be and was humbled by how it was supposed to be.

I was in pain after hurting my back during the build.
I wasn’t able to adjust and share my gift.
I lost my USBs with all my music.
I didn’t get to DJ.
It fucking RAINED.
The mud made it difficult to go anywhere.
My camp was a mess and not what I expected.
I was STUCK.

So much to complain about, and I did lol BUT I still made it one of the best times of my life. I danced thru a lot of pain, I lost attachment to all the parts of myself that I made my identity, the dj, the chiropractor, the most organized and clean. I was stripped of all my layers and it allowed me to step into a new depth of presence and understanding of who I am.

I’m and not the sum of my parts. I’m greater than that, I’m a beautiful expression of creativity, connection and love ❤️

Feeling SO MUCH gratitude and love for this connection and the depths that it has taken us to recently. Gratitude for the communication and safety that we have carefully nourished. For the play that we have explored and encouraged. For the grief, fears, and anxieties that we have danced so lovingly through. And for the grace with which you navigate your Truth and continuously challenge me to live Mine.

It’s an honor to witness you, my love. my sacred mirror. my ship. my best friend. my nesting partner. 💞

It takes a massive amount of energy to put on transformative festivals like Lucidity and the people working them are up day and night to keep the energy alive.

Artists, performers, vendors, volunteers, build teams and everyone else who makes this all happen are working super hard to create something special for the community.

Tara came up to me while I was about to film an adjustment desperately asking me to take a look at her back. Being apart of the media team as a photographer requires lugging around 40 lbs of camera equipment and shooting every stage and event.

With this amount of work and stress, her system just couldn’t handle it and needed some love and care. It was a pleasure being able to help Tara’s system better adapt to her environment and cause some ease during such a hectic experience.

From the moment we first met it’s been one adventure after an other. There’s truly never a dull moment with you laila and I’m so happy to have such a sweet, intelligent and incredibly hilarious partner by my side willing to go on all the wildest journeys.

You offer such a refreshing perspective that radiates so heavily into my life and inspires me to think anything I set my mind to is possible.

I love the way you think, the way you communicate, the way you encourage me to be the best and the space you hold for me to be on my purpose.

The amount of inspiration I got at my first Burning Man was absolutely insane. I felt like everything came together that week for the rest of my life. I’m so excited for what’s in store for the future and I can’t wait to share it with the playa. Thank you to all of those who made my time here so special.
