My dearest son, one week ago today you became a college graduate. YOU DID IT! I am so incredibly proud of you. You worked hard, you persevered, and you achieved. I believe in you and know that you can do anything you set your mind to. I cannot wait to see the impact that you make on this world. Remember, a speed bump is not a roadblock. Do not let anything or anyone stop you from pursuing your dreams and never give up on any of your dreams. There is no timetable for dreams. Remember, fall down seven times, get up eight times. You cannot fail as long as you keep trying. I love you unconditionally. Thanks be to God for all of his blessings on you. Inventor, Rocker, Adventurer, Surfer, Outdoorsman, the most sweet-sensitive soul - you are a great friend and you are the most amazing son. You were always shy but you tried to hide it. You are a person who tries to face their fears and do it anyway. A cliché that you would hate. You were always an individual and you always hated conformity. You walked at 10months. You read (and comprehended) at 2. You skipped 8th grade. You were always in a hurry to grow up. I love your wit and your depth. I love your determination. I love your intense passion for learning new things and for your sport. I love your goofiness. I love what a great teammate and great sport you are. I am in awe of who you are at 18. You are definitely a “still waters run deep” person. You always loved music, the beach, learning new things, and you always had your own style (fedora/sunglasses inside). You are the most unique and wonderful person I have ever known.
