Good marketing isn’t about doing all the things. It’s about doing the right things, intentionally. That’s why I created The Blueprint. Whether you’re starting from scratch or ready for a reset, we spend eight weeks getting clear on your brand, audience, messaging and priorities. The result? A clear marketing direction, a 90-day action plan, defined priorities and owners, and a better understanding of what’s actually worth your time and investment. DM BLUEPRINT to get started. #KZMethod #MarketingStrategy #BrandStrategy #FractionalCMO #MarketingPlanning by @kzmethod
✨ Life update ✨ 2025 has been a wild ride for our family but easily one of the best things to come out of it is launching my own business: KZ Method! This started in April but it’s time to shout about it! Whether you need a fractional CMO aka a part-time marketing leader, brand help, AI training — I’m officially open for business as your go-to marketing girl. Everything I’ve worked for over the past 15+ years has led to this — and I’m so excited to be able to give back to other brands, share what I’ve learned, and also have the flexibility to drive carpool at 3:30 (at least for now)! I’m all in. Working my butt off. SO Grateful. And so excited up to keep building this — with the right people, the right clients, and a whole lot of grind! So if you know someone who could use marketing support (big biz, small biz, dreaming of a biz), send them my way. I’d love to hear their story. And don’t forget to follow my other account @kzmethod — I’ll be sharing tips, tools, and a little behind-the-scenes from the marketing world over there! by @kzmethod
You spend months (sometimes years!) bringing a project to life. You finally get the professional photos back, download them to Dropbox… and then what? Maybe you post a few on Instagram. Update your portfolio. And the rest sit in a folder collecting digital dust. That’s exactly what we’re trying to change. Our KZ Method StoryPlan is about making the most of the work you’ve already done. We dig into the story of the project, capture the finished space, the details, the process, and YOU! Then turn it all into content you can actually use with a simple content plan that lays out all the details! We’ll even do the posting for you! Because after all that work, your project deserves more than a Dropbox folder. #OmahaBuilders #OmahaInteriorDesign #UtahInteriorDesign #SaltLakeCityInteriorDesign #utahhomebuilders by @kzmethod
May was packed in the best way for @kzmethod! From the @blueroseprca rodeo to the @storiescoffeecompany summer launch, and @shop_hellocolor shoots, and plenty of behind-the-scenes strategy and content work for my builder and designer clients, this month was full of meaningful work. Need a strategic marketing partner to help build your brand story? Let’s talk! Here’s a look at May. On to June ☀️ by @kzmethod
It was so much fun to see the animals all arrive for the @blueroseprca rodeo that starts tomorrow in Springfield! Join us Friday or Saturday for a professional rodeo that gives back to our community! One year ago, my world was flipped upside down. 15+ years in corporate over, just like that. At the time, it felt like the rug had been pulled out from under me. Looking back now, it was the moment everything changed and sent me into then path I probably never would have stopped to do in the corporate grid. Over the past year I built KZ Method — taking everything I learned in corporate marketing and turning it into a studio focused on helping founders and small businesses get clear on their brand, sharpen their messaging, and actually bring it to life. It’s been one of the most fulfilling seasons of my career. I truly wouldn’t change a single part of this journey over the last two years — even the hard parts. A big thank you to the founding clients who trusted me early and helped shape this first year: SheSports, Stories Coffee, Simons Design Studio, and Darwin and all my current clients! Turns out getting laid off was the push I didn’t know I needed. On to year two. 🚀 #KZMethod #FounderJourney #MarketingStrategy #brandstrategy #womeninbusiness by @kzmethod
2025 was hands down the hardest and one of best years of my life. From having my role eliminated right as I was finding my groove, to stepping into the chaos of the job market, to deciding to bet on myself and build something of my own. What started as a reset turned into growth I couldn’t have planned, and I closed out the year well beyond what I thought was possible in my first six months. I’m incredibly grateful for the founding KZ clients who trusted me early and helped shape this season. Project Surprise Party, SheSports, Stories Coffee Company, Simon’s Design Studio, Darwin Software and Everly Co., Omaha Steaks and the partners who said yes to me in these early days and believed in me. This year wouldn’t look the same without the people behind the scenes. Dave, my biggest cheerleader through every high and low. Whitney, for bringing my brand to life through content. Kyleigh, for jumping in and helping support a growing client list as thing got crazy! This year reconnected me with old friends, brought new forever people into my life, and made it clear this path was always part of God’s plan. Even in the lowest moments, I wouldn’t change it. I’m so grateful for the friends and family who showed up through the tears, the late nights, and the early Pure Barre Elkhorn mornings that became part of the reset. Bring on 2026. Bigger goals. New challenges. Let’s go! 👏👏👏 by @kzmethod
I’m so excited to share a secret project I’ve been able to be a part of! Be sure to watch the whole reel to get all the details! I’m so grateful I was introduced to Kelly and Melanie Krings last spring the founders of SheSports who had a vision to create a positive content platform for young girls in sports powered by college female athletes! And now it’s live! Nebraska volleyball alum and current pro Lexi Rodriguez is also on the founding team bringing so much perspective to the young athletes as well as empowering women’s NIL opportunities! So check out SheSports! Reese is obsessed with it and I’m giving you a quick tour here. Follow our socials @she.sports.inc download the app, and if you’re a coach, a parent of young athletes, or even have nieces in sports, share this with them. by @kzmethod

October seems to be my month for big transitions. Ten years ago today, I left Better Homes & Gardens for the marketing world. A year ago, I wrapped up nine incredible years at Oriental Trading for what I thought was my next long term gig. And this October, I’m officially on the other side — getting in the groove running my own business and leading strategy across amazing brands. And dancing my way through it! Taylor called it Opalite. I call it the sweet spot. ✨ If your brand is ready for its own shift, let’s chat and make the next season your sweet spot too. 📷 @themodernpractitioner 📍 @lulicreativehouse by @kzmethod
I want to share something near and dear to my heart... I truly believe every child deserves to feel celebrated on their birthday. 🥳 That’s why I love the work of one of my favorite Omaha non-profits, @project.surprise.party. Their mission is to make birthdays special for families who may not be able to give their child a party. They deliver birthday packages filled with decorations, a cake, a book and gifts to kids in our community who may not have received without PSP! This month, we’re kicking off the Birthday Blitz — our goal is to fund 100 parties before the end of the year! I donated, now it’s your turn! 🎉 Demand is growing and we delivered 19 birthday packages last month! Donate via the link in @project.surprise.party bio, shop the Amazon and Fat Brain wish list, or become a business sponsor! Let’s make sure every kid gets their moment. 💜 #Omahamom #omahanonprofit #birthdayjoy #omaha #dogood by @kzmethod
