@kzt.art I’m a multidisciplinary artist who works with different art mediums.

Last December, I visited Yogyakarta, which is the heart of Batik Heritage, located in Central Java. Spent about a week in Batik studio and created this for my Indonesian-Javanese friend for her wedding.

Since many are asking, I’m opening commissions but only taking very limited number. Please submit the enquiry form under links in my bio 🫶🏼

There’s so much more for me to learn about Batik. What a beautiful legacy to have this kind of cultural heritage passed down through generations with stories and traditions!

I’m excited to keep learning, creating and sharing this craft that carries history, culture and meaning 🪔🙏🏼

Note: some facts are extracted from different sources
the descriptions in the museum @mbatik.in are in Indonesian language and took some time to translate.
And forgive me for a few typos here and there 😅

// KZT.Art is a lifelong dream of creating and sharing our stories, culture and identities. We are here to recognize, honour and celebrate the things that make us who we are, through creative expression.

Our only wish is that, somewhere here, you feel seen, heard, cherished and honoured.

With love,
KZT.Art
