To my dear old college home… 💙

First, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family, friends, and the entire Jackson State University community for their constant support and encouragement. This journey has truly been a blessing.

Growing up, I always felt that Jackson State University was where I was meant to be, and to now say I have lived this experience is something I will never take for granted. Since my freshman year in Fall 2022, I have had the opportunity to meet incredible individuals, build meaningful connections, and create memories that I will carry with me for a lifetime.

Coming into college, I was naturally reserved and often stayed within my comfort zone. However, this experience challenged me to grow, step outside of that space, and develop confidence in myself.

This semester, in particular, brought its share of challenges—long nights, moments of stress, and times when I felt overwhelmed. Nevertheless, I remained committed and persevered.

Becoming a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was a transformative experience. It strengthened my understanding of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, Finer Womanhood, and Leadership, and pushed me to grow in ways I will always value. My forever Mella ΣO Zen #22 💙

I will forever be proud to call myself a Tiger on THEE I LOVE campus. I will truly miss the late nights on the plaza, the music, and the sense of community that made this experience so meaningful.

Through it all, I have grown into a young, gifted, and Black woman—continuously evolving, learning, and becoming.
