just a little note about me:

i wanted to share something that might help my current and future pen pals understand me a little better…
(and to all my new followers!)🐞
⸻

i am autistic, and while it’s only one part of who I am, it does affect the way i communicate and experience the world.

i was also diagnosed later in life, so I’m still learning more about myself every day. it’s been a really eye-opening journey for me, and i’m constantly discovering new things about how my brain works, what i need, and what helps me feel comfortable

sometimes i can be a little quiet, take a while to reply, or overthink messages before sending them. it’s never because i don’t care…i actually care A LOT and i often worry about saying the wrong thing

i can also get overwhelmed quite easily and may need time to recharge, especially after any social interaction. if i sometimes take a little longer to respond to messages/letters, please know it usually means i’m feeling overwhelmed, not that i’ve lost interest in our friendship or in pen-palling. i just need to ‘recharge’

i will always do my best to communicate as clearly as i can, but sometimes I can come across as “too much,” or my messages might be a little all over the place because i tend to type exactly how I talk…

please never feel shy about asking me to explain something again or letting me know if i have worded something in a confusing/wrong way. i’ll always be happy to try explain myself differently. i would much rather you ask than worry!
and i’d also appreciate the same back, if needed!

i truly appreciate people who are patient and understanding. thank you for taking the time to read this, to get to know me and for accepting me as i am🥰

at the end of the day, i’m still just me, a girl who loves letters, arts&crafts, books, journaling, little cosy things, and making genuine connections with people around the world!! 🐞

only a few more days until it’s officially autumn! 🍂

i think one of my favourite things about autumn is how beautiful even the smallest things become. like a pile of fallen leaves, a tiny berry, the colours that the trees turn, a cosy afternoon spent writing letters… everything feels a little more magical! 🍁✨

i want to get better at appreciating these tiny moments instead of always waiting for something bigger or more exciting to happen. there is so much beauty in the little things we often overlook…

so here’s your reminder to romanticise your hobbies, take pictures of things that make you smile, write that letter, decorate that journal page and let yourself enjoy the things that bring you joy!!

there’s just something so special about receiving a letter written just for you..
little pieces of someone’s life, thoughts and personality, all tucked inside an envelope🥰

i have a box specifically for all the letters i receive from my pen pals, and i find myself reading back through every single one of them all the time.

each letter is such a beautiful reminder of the friendships and memories i’ve made through this hobby, i truly wouldn’t want to be doing anything else!

i’m so happy to be part of such a beautiful community and forever grateful for the little pen pal friendships i’ve found through it🐞💌

open my monthly freeprints order with me!🐞

one of my favourite little monthly routines is getting my FreePrints photos and seeing all the pictures i’ve chosen! most of the prints i find are from pinterest and the quality is always perfect!

if you’re a pen pal of mine, you will definitely see some of your favourite things on these prints! 🫣

i love using my prints for journaling, scrapbooking, decorating letters and as little extras to give to my pen pals!

i also love how excited i get when this little package arrives every month because i never quite remember everything i’ve chosen until i open it!!

a little collection of some of the letters i’ve received from my lovely pen pals so far 💌🐞📮

i honestly don’t think i’ll ever get over the feeling of waking up and seeing a letter waiting for me!
there’s something so special about knowing someone took the time to sit down, write their thoughts on paper, decorate an envelope, choose little things to send and then send it all the way to me. every letter feels like receiving a tiny piece of someone’s world and i love it 💌

i’m so incredibly grateful for every single person i’ve had the chance to become pen pals with and for all the little stories, memories, interests, recommendations, photos, stickers and random thoughts they’ve shared with me. it’s such a lovely feeling slowly getting to know someone through their letters and watching a friendship grow one envelope at a time🥰

i’m also excited for all the letters i haven’t yet received, that are on their way and all the new things i still have to learn about the people i’m writing to. i can’t wait to hear more about their lives, their favourite things, their dreams, their little everyday moments and all the random things that make them who they are 🫶🏻

pen paling has honestly become such a special little part of my life, and i’m so happy i decided to give it a try. here’s to many more letters, new friendships, decorated envelopes, happy surprises and countless little pieces of paper travelling across the world!!!!

so grateful for every letter i’ve received so far, and i can’t wait to see what comes next!!!!

thank you to all my pen pals for making my days a little happier🫶🏻🐞

incoming from France! 🇫🇷💌🌷

i was so excited to receive this letter from my pen pal! 🥹 i absolutely love how she decorated the envelope, especially the little ladybug and flowers 🐞🌸 and of course the cute little French stamps!! i always love seeing how my pen pals decorate their letters because everyone has their own little style and it makes every envelope feel so special.

i honestly still get so excited whenever i see a handwritten letter waiting for me. it’s such a lovely feeling knowing that someone has taken the time to sit down, write to you and decorate something that has travelled all the way from another country just to reach your letterbox..🥰

i’m so happy i’ve started pen paling and that it has introduced me to so many lovely people from different places. i never thought i’d get this excited about checking the post, but here we are!!💌

thank you for this lovely letter! @r0ugir 🐞🇫🇷🫶🏻

living in a ladybug wonderland 🐞

—
ahhh my first reel!! i’ve always loved creating little cosy spaces, and somehow that turned into collecting ladybugs everywhere i go. 🐞❤️

so i thought it was finally time to make my first reel and share a little glimpse into my room—the place that’s slowly been taken over by tiny red spots, books, stickers, art supplies, and all the things that make me happy.

this account is my little corner of the internet, where i’ll be sharing snippets of my hobbies, letters from pen pals, creative projects, and all the little things that bring me joy. thank you to those who have been here from the beginning. i can’t wait to share more with you all!!🥰

here’s to many more cosy posts and ladybugs!!!🐞
