Had to ship the 90 to the Midwest for temporary stay. This is where a #Defender has to be placed on an auto transport trailer. They only fit in the last upper spot. If you’re shipping your #landroverdefender make sure your broker and/or driver know this before they ship it.

Getting the fresh new bits in place.
I bought a 12 ton press to remove the bushings from the trailing arms. Ended up taking them to the machine shop. It took over 40 ton to remove them. 😓land rovers by @l699bdx

The front end and #lhdtorhdconversion is finished. After a few months of test driving to make sure everything stays put, it’s now time to start the rear end.
In classic #landrover style I was immediately welcomed back to the project with three (of four) striped calipers bolts.

I found out the hard way what this little oval cut-out on the floor mat is far. 😬 *for anyone doing a #rhdtolhdconversion or #lhdtorhd conversation on a #defender Do Not forget to cut this little bastard out!! Unless you want your accelerator stuck to the floor as you fly (defender=~40mph) down the road. by @l699bdx

All went well on today’s test drive with the exception of almost dying when the accelerator pedal stop bolt got stuck under the floor mate. 🙀
Now to figure out why the spare wheel holder on the new #NAS door makes a load cluck sound on every bump. 😓 by @l699bdx

The real reason to convert #rhdtolhd
It was spend two years and thousands of dollars doing the conversion or buy new floor mats. I think I made the logical ( #landrover logic) choice. #defender #landroverlogic #landroverowners by @l699bdx

Took some time but I finally got the new (tome) green door and high-mount brake light installed. Now to find out why my battery randomly dies during start. 😓 by @l699bdx
