It’s time for my annual Cinco post 😂🙈 (or biennial at this point).

I haven’t really been on here much. Work, life stuff, next-chapter stuff. Grateful for all of it.

A couple of updates para los c̶h̶i̶s̶m̶o̶s̶o̶s̶ curiosos 👀: I started a new role with @casalotos sotol and well… como se dice… me siento excited? hehe 💜🌹✨. Working with sotol now - not tequila, not mezcal, but a Mexican spirit with its own story. Looking forward to sharing more if it’s new to you 🌵. Would love to share a little #chiki of it next time we cross paths.

A couple other things I’m proud of: my brother @david_n2018 and I are still building @consabor_foods - for those who knew about it (and for those who didn’t), it’s the chorizo project we started in the pandemic 🌶️ (more on that soon 👀).

Oh also - I’m a cat dad now. I didn’t think I liked cats that much and now I have 2 🙈 (Beni y Metz, los gatitos 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛). If you’ve met them, you know :)

The average American eats out 3.5 times a week. The hospitality industry is comprised of over 15 million people, with a $2.5 Trillion impact. You celebrate with us, you cry with us. You break up & makeup. You say “Happy Birthday” and “Goodbye”. Whether we bring meals to your home or you bring your family to us. There is an ecosystem for gathering within our country made up of Chefs, Cooks, Sommeliers, Bartenders, Servers, Cashiers and also those you never see our porters, barbacks, prep teams and so many more. However, you may spend time with us what we know to be true is....We Are America’s Table.
@repmaxinewaters has put together a proposal, which we have edited to include the specific needs of the industry. While the calls to our state and local offices are important until they get federal funding they do not have the ability to provide the necessary structure to keep our industry at every level supported. The first line of defense is federal and then unified we can continue our asks at a state and local level. Alright #2018 you were a beautiful year and feeling so grateful and blessed for that. Lucky to have such an amazing community, for health, my fam and an amazing job. So incredibly happy for my herman@ @charritomontaperros and his esposo, @raragutz! Feel so blessed to have been part of probably the most beautiful celebration of #love! My new job at La Alteña distillery! 😉😝 Driving this deer, @johndeere tractor that is 😆 (if you have met @cccamarena_c, you will know the reference 😬😂). The tractor hauls the #Tahona, a two-ton volcanic stone wheel that crushes all of the cooked agave used to make the delicioso @eltesorotequila! .
