thank you Winston,

Thank you for everything! Thank you for the good days, the bad days, the great days, and the even worse days! Everyday at Winston has turned me into this strong, powerful, unstoppable fire ball of a woman. My time at Winston was different from everybody else’s. I did this for the girls that look like me! That come from where I come from, been through what I been through. Even though we might not be on anyone “team” or anyone’s “org” we’re still here, we still matter, and we still get stuff done !!

To my family, I love y’all and without yall unwavering love and support idk how I could’ve did. The lord and my mama knows I wanted to quit many times but I prevailed. I stayed strong and now my brother jr in college for auto mechanics at UNOH in Ohio. Donte plays football at UNCC. I HAD TO BE the one to show me brothers we are strong enough to do this no matter who say what or where we come from. Despite all odds beat them odds. To all my crazy cousins we gone be lit soon and all them messages and calls definitely didn’t go unnoticed!

To my friends, words can’t even explain the role yall played in these four years!! Literally my backbones idk what I did to deserve such amazing people but just know that type of love NEVER goes unnoticed. Joshua, michaya, and Sydney to those who love knows no boundaries and no distance I thank yall so so so much!!

Here’s to becoming a better woman, silently, gracefully, BEAUTIFULLY! Anybody who knows me know, Lakenya stand on all business! So why not have a degree in it🤭
