A little glimpse into mine and my very lazy assistants frilly studio 🩷 Manu is never far from my side and her peaceful snores 18hours a day are so motivating.

A looooooong time in Fashion Design taught me so much and gave me years to develop my skills in design, ranging, trend, fabrics, sourcing, colour….

But it didn’t teach me how to wear ALL the hats. Marketing one minute, content creator the next, sales after that, with a bit of production squeezed in between.

Building a business is so much fun, but god, it’s bloody hard work. I’m learning as I go and determined to make this little frilly business work. I so appreciate everyone being here for the ride!

Manu this song is for you and for us starting our La Mí Wí mission, 10,000 miles from where my home used to be🩷

One of my favourite bits of the process is finding the fabric! I spend A LOT of my time hunting for local deadstock and I feel pretty lucky to have so many great options on my doorstep.

Finding fabric was always one of my favourite parts of my design roles too. Roaming the aisles of Première Vision, visiting factories or finding something amazing from a new supplier.

Giving forgotten fabrics a new story is my goal, and I prioritise deadstock wherever I can.

Can’t wait to collaborate with more brands on creating new stories with forgotten fabrics through my maximalist art and installations 🩷🩷

3 weeks ago I installed It’s (Almost) Spring Time, Baby! at the amazing @datenightstudio 🌸 and @samantha.heather captured the evidence!

My favourite part of this whole thing? The people ❤️

Lu + Pia, absolute legends and OG community creators, their space was FULL of very cool people that night.

Sam hung out with me for the day, made being in front of the camera feel weirdly easy and has just sent over the most beautiful album 🥹
