Readjusting to a new life isn’t always romantic. Puglia has taught me that. I love it here.. the nature, the sun, the slower pace. But countryside life is different. Quieter. More isolated. And yes, sometimes lonely, even when it’s partly our own doing. This chapter has reminded me how much resilience matters. How important it is to keep going, to zoom out, to see the good even when it feels unfamiliar. What I miss most? People. Inspiration. That spontaneous hug, a chai latte with a friend, the energy you don’t get through a screen. Milan gave me that spark. Here, life is more grounded, more real, more about work, family, and showing up every day. Maybe I needed to experience both to truly appreciate what I have. Different doesn’t mean worse. One of the most valuable things about building a business is that, at some point, you realise it is never only about the business itself. It is about who you are becoming in the process. Your business will ask things from you that your old self may not yet be ready for. It will ask for resilience, discipline, leadership, and the ability to make decisions before you have every answer. That is why becoming the person your business needs is just as important as building the business itself. A strong business is rarely built by chance. It is built by someone who has learned how to think long-term, how to stay grounded under pressure, and how to keep showing up even before the results arrive. In my experience, entrepreneurship becomes a personal evolution before it becomes external success.
