A few months ago, we asked our community to help us fund a water project in Huacho Chico, Peru. You did. And the work has already begun.

The funds raised so far are already helping build the well you see here. 32 people have donated, and 57% of the project is now funded.

This isn’t a project waiting to happen. It’s happening now.

There is still more to raise to complete the well and the infrastructure needed to bring safe drinking water to around 1,000 families.

Access to water changes the most ordinary parts of life: drinking, cooking, washing and sanitation. Most importantly, access to safe drinking water can help protect the health of the community and improve everyday life for the families who live in Huacho Chico.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared and supported the project so far. Every contribution, no matter the size, takes us closer to completing it.

We’re so grateful for how far we’ve come, and to have you be part of making this happen.

Conoce a Isabella y Mariella, nuestras fundadoras detrás de este proyecto.

Esta es la realidad de más de 1,000 familias en Huacho Chico, Lima. Sin acceso a agua limpia, dependiendo de tanques improvisados y agua de alto riesgo.

Junto a @la__granni y @studioafuera estamos construyendo un pozo de agua potable para cambiar eso, y ya estamos al 50% de nuestra meta.

Visitamos la comunidad, trabajando de la mano con el ingeniero Pedro, y estamos listos para construir. Solo nos falta el apoyo de ustedes para llegar al objetivo.
