15 days in Panama, and it felt like a lifetime of memories 🇵🇦✨

We didn’t just visit — we lived it. From the moment we landed, the plan was clear: skip the tourist bubble and actually acclimate like locals. We rented an apartment, unpacked our bags, and settled into the rhythm of everyday life in Panama City.

The most special part? Finally meeting part of my Colombian family in person for the first time. Years of calls and messages turned into real hugs, real conversations, real memories — the kind that make you understand why familia means everything.

We walked the streets until we knew every corner. We spent afternoons in the park watching the city breathe. We danced into the nightlife and felt the culture pulse through every plaza, every plate of food, every conversation. And of course — the heat and humidity reminded us every single day that Panama plays by its own rules 🌴🥵

But more than the places, it was the people. We crossed paths with so many incredible souls from all over the world, all living their own version of the Panama expat journey. Different backgrounds, different stories, same spark in their eyes when they talked about why they chose this life.

Meeting them was confirmation of everything we already believed: travel isn’t just about seeing new places — it’s about becoming part of them, even for a little while. It connects people who never would’ve met otherwise, and it reminds you how big and beautiful this world really is.

15 days. One unforgettable chapter. Already dreaming about when we’ll be back 🇵🇦❤️

When I first started out in the fashion industry, I was a Customer service rep for a screen printing company. I loved it, I was always a lover of art. It was there that I really began to understand how important it is for brands to have their own unique identity, so they can stand out from their competitors.

At that time, I was also going through a divorce. The break up inspired me to further pursue another side of the industry away from printing apparel. So I did some research online, and began at The Zabin Group as their Front desk receptionist, within 2 months I was promoted to Sales at their Trim Branding division, AZI. The rest is history!

The dream has always been, to start a company that would grow into something more than just me—something that could help people achieve their goals, make their visions come true, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Once upon a time .. ✨📖

Looking back at how I got started in this career , I went after one love and found another in Los Angeles—found a passion, a career, and a deeper belief in what I could build for myself.

The heartbreak was real, but so was everything that grew beyond it. I can honor what that marriage brought into my life without wishing it had lasted forever.

Sometimes, what feels like failure is simply an ending we haven’t found meaning in yet. Give yourself grace to grieve, courage to begin again, and room to imagine a different future.

My once upon a time didn’t end the way I imagined. But it wasn’t the end of my story.

Less hunger, more intention. 💪

11 weeks on a GLP-1 and 17 lbs down—but the biggest win? Building better habits.

Working with a dietitian, I’m learning to prioritize protein + fiber, choose nutrient-dense foods, and still make room for carbs. #No cutting out everything I love. 🙌

But with less hunger, I’m more intentional about what I eat first. This medication is a stepping stone, not a magic fix.

The unexpected twist? Some foods taste different now.

I hope he remembers the **simple** moments. 🤍

The Home Depot and Lowe’s workshops. Storytime at the library. The little pockets of time that were just ours.

For the last few years, amidst the chaos of caregiving, hospital visits, tests, and hectic schedules, I’ve made it a point to carve out time just for him.

I hope he remembers that Mami tried her absolute hardest. That even when life was heavy, there was still room for joy—and for him.

I may not be perfect, but being present matters. And I hope he always remembers that I was there. 🤍

Three weeks ago, I sought chiropractic care and received only shockwave therapy, before any MRI or X-rays. Two weeks later—last week—I developed an excruciating back-pain flare. ⚡️

After today’s STAT MRI, I returned hoping for relief. Instead, I was told insurance-covered adjustments would only be offered alongside a $450 shockwave package that isn’t covered.

I politely declined shockwave and left without treatment. 🚫

I’m not claiming shockwave caused my pain.

But being told I couldn’t receive covered care without purchasing an additional service left me feeling pressured, unheard, and disappointed.

I came for help, not a sales pitch.💸

✨ A little prep can help you stay organized and more comfortable throughout the week.

My go-to checklist: hydrate, keep meals light, double-check the vial and dose, rotate sites, and keep a simple symptom note.

Always use the exact dose and instructions provided by your prescriber/pharmacy.

Never reuse needles or syringes, and do not inject medication that looks cloudy, discolored, frozen, expired, or damaged.

Safe injection practices include handwashing, cleaning the vial stopper and skin with alcohol, allowing it to air-dry, and using a new sterile needle/syringe each time.
